This document provides information about establishing checkpoints and reviewing progress for the Michigan Mathematics and Science Teacher Leadership Collaborative grant. It includes: 1) Goals for the grant including developing teacher leaders, improving math and science teaching and learning, and increasing the capacity of science and math centers. 2) A logic model laying out the resources, needs, activities, outputs, intermediate outcomes and long-term goals of the grant. 3) Checkpoints for reviewing progress toward grant, school and personal goals including refining action plans and celebrating successes.

Assumptions/Rationale: The Federal MSP program supports improved student achievement in mathematics and science through enhanced training for math / science teachers,
with major involvement of STEM faculty in the improvement effort. The Michigan MSP program has identified a need for teacher leaders to provide sustainable site-based
professional development.
