Introduction:
What does the composites mean ?
A composites material can be defined as a
mixture or com-bination of two or more
visibly distinct materials.
Why do we need composites materials?
It is mainly use in constructions
Fiber-reinforced
Composites
Composites with
chopped or
continuous fibers
Particulate
composites
Composites
with embedded
particles
Laminar
composites
A composite
material that
consists of two
or more layers of
different
materials that are
bonded together
Activity 1 :-
Testing different
kinds of ice
We test some material :
We but the Towel & few
of water then we mix it in
the blender , Next we but
it in a small container ,
Finally we but it in the
fridge to make it ice .
The next day we
took the ice from
the fridge then we
remove the
composites & the
water ice from the
container .
After that , we put it
in the same level in
50 cm , then we
dropped it in the
floor to see anyone
of them was more
strong composites
We conclude that
the composites
material stronger
than pure
material ,
because we
dropped the
composites
material 3 times
in the floor to
disintegrate
opposite than the
pure material that
disintegrate in
the first drop .

Activity 3: Exploring the difference
between strength & stiffness ?
Strength : the maximum amount of force a material can
experience before failing . (weakness) ..
Stiffness : The amount of deformation a material can
experience and still return to it’s (flexibility) )original
shape ).

Conclusion:
The two side foam was the strongest foam cause it was
covered from up and down so its protected the foam from
breaking.
Design Project: Design fishing pole
It has to be:
STRONG
FLEXIABLE
REINFORCED
Project Design: Designing a Fishing Pole
Hold at least 200 gm without failure.
Deflect at least 2 cm with 200gm.
Largest load hold/pole mass.
Project Design: Designing a Fishing Pole
We designed two different simple of fishing
pole , we use some material to make the pole
more flexibly , strong & reinforced .
Project Design: Designing a Fishing Pole
We but the fishing
pole in the scale to
measure and to
see did the fishing
pole have a flexibly
, strong &
reinforced ?? then
we use some
weights to see if
the pole will come
to normal or will
break !
The fishing pole we
were did it , it
contains flexible ,
strength &
reinforced , because
we but different
types of weights ,
then it came to her
normal , and it
didn’t break , it’s a
good composites .

Final project:
Our project name is ?
Composite + umbrella
our project is talking about covering all the
houses that is being built or the gardens,
coffee shops, that are already built
outdoors
The project’s explanation
Umbrella is made of several materials to help
cool place in the summer and heating in winter
The importance of our project.
1-The project will definitely be useful for
Qatar’s hot weather
2- Outdoors places will be protected because it
will prevent the sunshine from passing
through.
3- The construction workers will no longer
struggle with tiredness and exhaustion
because this project will warm them up from
the heat.
4- People will have the chance to keep their
skins natural and protected.
The advantages of our project
1-Protect people with skin disease category and get away
from all that would be bad for them from the atmosphere
2-Encourage construction workers to finish their work on
time
3-Good to go outside at all times and rituals Airborne
Facing any obstacles in the
project.
1-People are not exposed to sunlight, leading to the
loss of vitamin D is necessary for the body
2-Increasing the quantity of injury to a variety of
diseases because many scientists who say that the
exposure to the sun an important factor in
strengthening the immune system
We hope This
project is going to
be spread in Qatar
and the whole world
as well.
We hope that our
project be the first,
we wish we could be
one of the winners
Conclusions
The benefits of AL-Bairaq
1-We gained a ton of information
that will help us to improve our
general knowledge.
2-We have learned how to mix
materials together, and how to
choose them, and know how to
distinguish between vehicles.
3-Now we have an idea of how to
make a good and useful and valid
compound for use of our
environment.
