3. Introduction
composites
a composites material can be defined as a mixture or
combination of two or more material .

4. Activity 1:
We just made 3 samples of ice :
1-water only
2-water with tissue paper
3-water with cotton , paper and straw
We found sample no.3 was very strong and its hard
to break it !! But the sample no.1 is weak

5. Activity 2:
We looked around us to find composite materials

6. Activity 3:
we came with many materials :( Nylon Cord, Plastic rod , Pasta,
Iron rod and wood )
We started tested strength and stiffness of these materials
We found :
1- Iron is the strongest one and Pasta
is the weakest one
2- Nylon Cord is the most flexible and
Pasta has the least flexibility

7. :Testing a foam Composite for Strength and stiffness
We made three types of foam:
1- foam without paper
2- foam with one side paper
3- foam with two sides paper
We found that fiber with two sides
paper
Is the strongest one and fiber without
paper
Is weak

8. Design Project: Designing a Fishing pool
We came with :(scissors ,thread ,tape ,
Straw and woods) to design a fishing
pole
We made the bottom strong , then, We
made the top a little flexible so as not to
be broken

9. Project idea :
It is well known here in the State of Qatar
and the Arab Gulf states that the weather is
very hot in the summer and strong sunlight
with harmful rays will cause a negative
impact on the human body. So we thought
of adding a substance that isolates heat and
harmful rays from the human body. (by add
fiber glass)

10. Hypothesis
Through Al-bairaq workshops we think that
we can add fiber glass to clothes, Because
fiberglass insulated heat Therefore it could
get rid of harmful rays.

11. Methods and Materials

12. Results
After adding fiberglass anyone can enjoy
softer weather in the summer and we
believe that this invention may solve the
problem to a large extent and feel it will
spread in countries with hot weather

13. Recommendations
1. When applying the idea , we must leave
some spaces between the fibers to make
some air enters.
2. Availability of fiberglass because it was a
big problem for us because the lack of
quantity significantly in the market.
3. recommended more investigation for
improvement of the product

14. Conclusion
We have benefited greatly from Albairaq we
have learned from Albairaq to Find new
ideas and teamwork ,without Albairaq we
would not have to reach this idea
I think that Albairaq bring out the scientific
talents of us.
