Ross Cogdell received marks of 15/20 for planning, 46/60 for construction of their main task, and 13/20 for evaluation. Their evaluation responses showed some understanding but lacked research, relied too heavily on stereotypes, and needed more analysis. They demonstrated good understanding in some questions but did not sufficiently link their product to real examples or provide enough detail on what was learned from using different technologies. Overall, their work showed good comprehension of the task and genre but required improved spelling, punctuation, capitalization, and greater use of research and technology in their responses. Ross received a total mark of 74/100 and a grade of B.
A presentation outlining what primary research is and how to conduct and analyze it. The presentation compares primary and secondary research. It walks the audience through selecting research objectives and methods, how to draft a study, and how to recruit appropriate respondents. It discusses interview techniques and provides some basics on analyzing data and drawing conclusions. This presentation is aimed at start-ups and entrepreneurs looking to conduct their own research on modest budgets and timelines.

Synthetic Fiber Construction in lab .pptxPavel ( NSTU)
Synthetic fiber production is a fascinating and complex field that blends chemistry, engineering, and environmental science. By understanding these aspects, students can gain a comprehensive view of synthetic fiber production, its impact on society and the environment, and the potential for future innovations. Synthetic fibers play a crucial role in modern society, impacting various aspects of daily life, industry, and the environment. ynthetic fibers are integral to modern life, offering a range of benefits from cost-effectiveness and versatility to innovative applications and performance characteristics. While they pose environmental challenges, ongoing research and development aim to create more sustainable and eco-friendly alternatives. Understanding the importance of synthetic fibers helps in appreciating their role in the economy, industry, and daily life, while also emphasizing the need for sustainable practices and innovation.
We all have good and bad thoughts from time to time and situation to situation. We are bombarded daily with spiraling thoughts(both negative and positive) creating all-consuming feel , making us difficult to manage with associated suffering. Good thoughts are like our Mob Signal (Positive thought) amidst noise(negative thought) in the atmosphere. Negative thoughts like noise outweigh positive thoughts. These thoughts often create unwanted confusion, trouble, stress and frustration in our mind as well as chaos in our physical world. Negative thoughts are also known as “distorted thinking”.

2024.06.01 Introducing a competency framework for languag learning materials ...Sandy Millin
http://sandymillin.wordpress.com/iateflwebinar2024
Published classroom materials form the basis of syllabuses, drive teacher professional development, and have a potentially huge influence on learners, teachers and education systems. All teachers also create their own materials, whether a few sentences on a blackboard, a highly-structured fully-realised online course, or anything in between. Despite this, the knowledge and skills needed to create effective language learning materials are rarely part of teacher training, and are mostly learnt by trial and error.
Knowledge and skills frameworks, generally called competency frameworks, for ELT teachers, trainers and managers have existed for a few years now. However, until I created one for my MA dissertation, there wasn’t one drawing together what we need to know and do to be able to effectively produce language learning materials.
This webinar will introduce you to my framework, highlighting the key competencies I identified from my research. It will also show how anybody involved in language teaching (any language, not just English!), teacher training, managing schools or developing language learning materials can benefit from using the framework.

The French Revolution, which began in 1789, was a period of radical social and political upheaval in France. It marked the decline of absolute monarchies, the rise of secular and democratic republics, and the eventual rise of Napoleon Bonaparte. This revolutionary period is crucial in understanding the transition from feudalism to modernity in Europe.

Operation “Blue Star” is the only event in the history of Independent India where the state went into war with its own people. Even after about 40 years it is not clear if it was culmination of states anger over people of the region, a political game of power or start of dictatorial chapter in the democratic setup.
The people of Punjab felt alienated from main stream due to denial of their just demands during a long democratic struggle since independence. As it happen all over the word, it led to militant struggle with great loss of lives of military, police and civilian personnel. Killing of Indira Gandhi and massacre of innocent Sikhs in Delhi and other India cities was also associated with this movement.

Question 1:
PowerPoint /SlideShare – some good detail on how conventions used in
production with clear understanding shown of how mise-en-scene used to set up
narrative. There is no evidence of linking product to real products to highlight
argument.
Question 2:
Prezi – some understanding shown of how characters are represented and affect
on audience through use of mise-en-scene. Use of theorists would have enhanced
answer. Too reliant on stereotype and not enough on actual research.
Question 3:
PowerPoint /SlideShare – some basic detail and research on distributor and why
they were chosen. No evidence of statistical data or where information was found.
Question 4 and 5:
Emaze – some detail on typical audience with stereotypes used predominantly, no
evidence of primary/secondary research. Some nice detail on how audience was
attracted with good use of feedback from audience, some reflective comments
added.
Note: your target audience is too broad!
Question 6:
Prezi –good detail on technologies used in all parts of production. Post shows
understanding of how effective each tool was in production. Brief statement on
what was learnt included but needed more detail to show exactly what was learnt
for each technology.
Question 7:
Emaze –good detail on progress from prelim task with good understanding
demonstrated. Addition of screen grabs from both products included.
Good detail on questions showing good understanding of task, audience and
genre.
Some good analytical detail, use of images but needed more use of research in
answering questions. At times too reliant on stereotypes and description not
analysis.
Read your work, as there are lapses in spelling, punctuation and capital letters!
Limited use of technologies.
