Question 1: Answered using prezi. 5 areas have been used to state how the film
conforms to the genre. This is a proficient answer detailing how conventions have
been used throughout. Some good use of examples of real media text given.
Question 2: Answered using powtoon. A proficient answer going into good detail
about representation of social groups. Some information flashes up too quickly not
giving enough time to read without pausing the video.
Question 3: Answered using powerpoint and slideshare. Paramount Pictures
identified as a suitable distribution company for this film. Good reasons given as to
why, backed up with some good examples.
Question 4 and 5: Answered using an avatar and a vodcast. A high proficient
answer. This is a good piece to camera with good reflections throughout. Question
4 is covered well using an avatar to demonstrate who the audience would be.
Question 5 covered proficiently by stating the aspects of the film that would attract
your audience and with own questionnaire results. Data only analysed briefly at
the end, more on this would have been beneficial.
Question 6: Answered as a swot analysis using word and calameo. A basic
answer showing your strengths and weaknesses of 4 programs used. You could
have mentioned all the other technologies used throughout the whole process eg
powtoon, emaze, word, powerpoint, calemeo, youtube etc.
Question 7: Answered using a vodcast. An excellent answer providing good
reflection from preliminary task to final task. Good use of footage from your
preliminary and final tasks to show what you were talking through.
Candidate has used proficient skill in the use of digital technology and ICT in the
evaluation. Proficient ability to communicate throughout. Overall a high proficient
body of work, well done.
