Lucifer was originally an angel named who led the hosts of heaven as the choir director. However, Lucifer became prideful and wanted to be worshipped like God. Due to his pride and rebellion against God, Lucifer fell from heaven and his name was changed to Satan. Satan was not alone in his fall, as Revelation 12:7-9 indicates that Satan's angels fell with him and became demons after going against God.

2. Where did Satan come from? Why did he fall?
● Satan wasn’t always Satan. Before Satan came to be known as he is
today, he was an angel (Cherubim) in Heaven.
● His name was Lucifer. Lucifer led the Hosts of Heaven, also known as
the choirs of Heaven.
● Lucifer was the choir director and leader.
● Lucifer fell because he wanted to be worshiped like God and be higher
than God.
● He wanted to be God.
● His pride and demand to be like God was his downfall.
● Satan chose to go against God.
● Satan is not God’s equal opposite.

13 You were in Eden, the garden of God; Every precious stone was your covering: The sardius, topaz, and diamond, Beryl, onyx,
and jasper, Sapphire, turquoise, and emerald with gold. The workmanship of your timbrels and pipes Was prepared for you on
the day you were created. 14“You were the anointed cherub who covers; I established you; You were on the holy mountain of
God; You walked back and forth in the midst of fiery stones. 15 You were perfect in your ways from the day you were created, Till

4. Why did satan Fall?
Pride is the same sin that Satan used to deceive
Eve in the garden of Eden.

12 “How you are fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! How you are cut down

ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God; I will also sit on the
mount of the congregation On the farthest sides of the north; 14 I will ascend above the
heights of the clouds, I will be like the Most High.’15 Yet you shall be brought down to
Sheol, To the lowest depths of the Pit.

● They are not redeemable - Jesus died for man not angels
If only Satan fell then where did demons come from?

7 Then war broke out in heaven. Michael and his angels fought against the
dragon, and the dragon and his angels fought back. 8 But he was not strong
enough, and they lost their place in heaven. 9 The great dragon was hurled
down—that ancient serpent called the devil, or Satan, who leads the whole
