During this lesson, learners will be able to…
 Identify and use the structure presented.
 Incorporate and practise their previous knowledge of verbs and other
words.
 Develop their writing skills by completing different activities.
Teaching points: - language focus:
 Teaching approach: This lesson plan is based on the PPP approach.
 Materials and resources: One big image PRESENTATION stage. A copy for
each of Activity 1.
 Pedagogical use of ICT in class: No instances of ICT in this lesson.
 Seating arrangement: Students will be sitting at their desks since I believe
it´s the best way to see and participate of the class. Also, they will have visual
contact and interaction.
 Cooperative work: learners of this age can interact and work together in
order to perform activities.
 Possible problems / difficulties and their possible solutions during the
class: Students may not understand what I express but I will help them by pointing
and writing some words.
Potential problems students may have with the language: They may not understand
the explanation since they do not use the foreign language usually.

Purpose: to further expose the learners to the target language, to foster
comprehension
Hello boys! Let´s start… Today is December 1st
. OK, look here, what are doing the
smurfs? Can you match the picture with the verbs and make sentences?
Cry -- Play soccer – Jump – Sleep -- Sing – Ride a bike – eat
pizza – Swim-- build a sand castle- draw

Activity 1 (20 minutes)
Purpose: to students identify and practise the topic vocabulary.
Now I will give you a short text using Present Continuous, you have to correct it.
The first is done as an example.
CLOSURE (10 minutes)
Purpose: to secure the knowledge acquired.

  • 2. Teaching points: - language focus:  Teaching approach: This lesson plan is based on the PPP approach.  Materials and resources: One big image PRESENTATION stage. A copy for each of Activity 1.  Pedagogical use of ICT in class: No instances of ICT in this lesson.  Seating arrangement: Students will be sitting at their desks since I believe it´s the best way to see and participate of the class. Also, they will have visual contact and interaction.  Cooperative work: learners of this age can interact and work together in order to perform activities.  Possible problems / difficulties and their possible solutions during the class: Students may not understand what I express but I will help them by pointing and writing some words. Potential problems students may have with the language: They may not understand the explanation since they do not use the foreign language usually.
