Hi readers, this time we talked about concrete but shortly, enough information to understand about concrete block. Here we compare to brick in some point. But if you want full information about concrete block you can read this report from this link👇
https://www.slideshare.net/mobile/AliRizgar/concret-block-full-information
Bubble deck slab is a method of virtually eliminating all concrete from the middle of a floor slab, which is not performing any structural function, thereby dramatically reducing structural dead weight. High density polyethylene hollow spheres replace the in-effective concrete in the centre of the slab, thus decreasing the dead weight and increasing the efficiency of the floor. By introducing the gaps leads to a 30 To 50% lighter slab which reduces the loads on the columns, walls and foundations, and of course of the entire building.
The advantages are less energy consumption - both in production, transport and carrying out, less emission - exhaust gases from production and transport, especially CO2 .

2024.06.01 Introducing a competency framework for languag learning materials ...Sandy Millin
http://sandymillin.wordpress.com/iateflwebinar2024
Published classroom materials form the basis of syllabuses, drive teacher professional development, and have a potentially huge influence on learners, teachers and education systems. All teachers also create their own materials, whether a few sentences on a blackboard, a highly-structured fully-realised online course, or anything in between. Despite this, the knowledge and skills needed to create effective language learning materials are rarely part of teacher training, and are mostly learnt by trial and error.
Knowledge and skills frameworks, generally called competency frameworks, for ELT teachers, trainers and managers have existed for a few years now. However, until I created one for my MA dissertation, there wasn’t one drawing together what we need to know and do to be able to effectively produce language learning materials.
This webinar will introduce you to my framework, highlighting the key competencies I identified from my research. It will also show how anybody involved in language teaching (any language, not just English!), teacher training, managing schools or developing language learning materials can benefit from using the framework.

3. • beam
In this picture you are seeing is beam. It is made from steel rode , concrete and from
metal plate’s. to make it first fix steel rode’s and fix metal plate’s around it. At last filled
it with concrete. The building strenth is also based on beam.
4. • column
In picture you can see element call column. In first picture you can see constructed
column and in other one on construction column. Inside the metal plate there is steel
rode’s. after making of steel rode’s it has to filled up with concrete. The building strenth is
based on column.
5. • SLAB
The picture you are seeing is slabs.
To fix the slabs first it has to fix
rode’s as slab’s structure. After that
it has to fix metal plate around that
and at last filled up with concrete. It
has to give support of wooden
peace for 14 to 15 day’s.
7. FIRED BRICK
Fired bricks are burned in a kiln which
makes them durable. in now day’s use
of this is so less. It is most use in small
constructions.
Normally, brick contains the following
ingredients:
Silica (sand) – 50% to 60% by weight
Alumina (clay) – 20% to 30% by weight
Lime – 2 to 5% by weight
Iron oxide – = 7% by weight
Magnesia – less than 1% by weight
8. • FLY ASH BRICK
Fly ash brick also known as AAC (Autoclaved
Aerated Concrete).
It is a lightweight and fire and mold
resistance. AAC Blocks is a unique and
excellent type of building materials due to
its heat, fire and sound resistance.
Normally, brick contains the following
ingredients:
fly ash 62%
sand/stone dust 23%
lime 10%
gypsum 6%
9. • BLOCK
In now day’s this is primary material use instead of brick’s. there is so many reasone to
use this instead of brick’s. block is less heavyer than brick and much stronger. From
economical view it is cheeper than brick is also reason for chossing this.
In first picture you can see 9 inch width block
And in second picture you can see 4½ inch width block.
10. • SAND (SILICA)
In picture the material call silica. There are two types of silica. The one is white silica and
second is black silica. It is basic material of construction. Can be used in concrete work ,
brick work. White sand use in plastring and also in marble cutting. black sand usually use
with cement. In combination with cement , it gives a very strong strength , to whichever
thing it is applied.
11. • METAL PLATE
The material inside picture call
“metal plate”. It is for
supporting slab also supporting
of beam and column. After
fixing the steel rode’s metal
plate are fix around steel rode’s.
after that it has to fill up with
concrete.
12. • STEEL RODE
The material in picture call steel rode. It is usefull to make beam , column, slab’s etc.
there are different type of thikness as per it’s strenth. It can be 6mm , 8 mm , 12mm ,
16 mm , 20mm , 25 mm. In heavy constructions they use more thik rode’s.
13. • CEMENT
In this picture you are seeing is
cement . Main ingrediant to make
conrete. Concrete is mixer of cement ,
water and sand. This mixer usefull to
make joint between two brick.
14. • LINTURE
• MATERIAL LIFT (FORK LIFTS)
• SECURITY NET
• CONCRETE MIXER MACHINE
• Sunk
• ELECTRIC WIRES
• COPPING
• OPT (OPEN TO SKY)
15. • LINTURE
Linture is rcc work on window or
door. The proposion of makinkg
liture to give stability to bricks or
blocks on the door or window . In old
days wood liture use for linture in
mud houses. the liture level of
window and door is same.
16. • MATERIAL LIFT (FORK LIFTS)
In this picture you are seeing
material lift. It usefull to lifting
material’s to upper part’s of
buillding.
17. • SECURITY NET
This is security net. As per government rule it is requried to fix this type of net
around buillding costruction. It saves ground people from any thing comeout from
building.
18. • CONCRETE MIXER MACHINE
In the first picture there is mixer machine. It’s help to mixe up cement , silica and water to
make concrete and in second picture it is slurry pump. It usefull to push up liquid material
to upper floor’s of buillding like rcc , cement mixer etc.
19. • sunk
In this picture you are seeing sunk. It is
area to build up bathroom or toilet. In
the bathroom and toilet it required
space to set up gatar lines. So they
creat this type of constraction to set
up gatar line. After set up that you can
level up with flooring.
20. • ELECTRIC WIRES
After fixing the rode’s in the slabs. There is
to fix this type of cable wires in it. The
proposion to fix this is after wirring .
21. • COPPING
This is call copping. it is for wall’s strenth. If one build full wall withput copping it
going to crack one day so that it is requried to make concrete frame between half
wall.
22. • OPT (OPEN TO SKY)
OPT means open to sky. Opt is
open from ground floor to last
floor in building
