the following because the bulk of the client budget 
will be spent here

5. E. The last will be HDD because you can recycle this 
hardware from old unit if the client has one and if it 
is possible if not therefore buy a new one

sometimes people feel comfortable having a 
INTEL processor. You just need to explain to the

After you bought a processor, it is bundled with a 
motherboard. It is up to the client to choose 
which brand they like ASUS, MSI, Gigabyte etc. 
any brands are all the same quality because 
most were made in China
1. Common brands Seagate or Western Digital 
any brands is good but it depends on your 
choice 
2. Two types of connection a SATA HDD and IDE 
HDD. Current computers use SATA HDD but 
some old computers still use IDE 
3. A standard normal harddrive has a platter and 
an arm that reads those platter same as a old 
record player
4. The speed of the HDD depends how fast the 
platter spin it is called RPM 
5. Different HDD have different speeds the higher 
the RPM the faster the HDD 
6. Energy Efficient HDD they use less power 
because they spin slower
1.No moving parts or no parts to break 
2. Faster than a standard harddrive 
3. Expensive than a standard HDD 
4. Not Advisable for low budget clients
 ONBOARD Video card can be found in the 
motherboard

 Separate Video cards for gaming and movie 
editing clients. Clients that are willing to spend 
more money
1.Buying video cards depends on what are you 
doing or need. For browsing and surfing or 
making documents you just need a low end 
video cards sometimes just use the on-board 
video card found in your motherboard 
2.If the software you used needs a high end 
video card you need to buy a high end

them used a Graphics Processing Unit 
manufactured by two companies the ATI and 
NVIDIA 
4. The higher the number the more powerful it is 
example GT 580 is more powerful than GT 520
