This document discusses the water usage and treatment processes in the automobile industry. It notes that the industry uses around 148,000 litres of water to make a single car. It also details the various production stages involved in car manufacturing like chassis production, e-coating, surface finishing, pre-assembly and final assembly. The document then explains the water treatment technologies used by automotive plants like microfiltration, reverse osmosis and ultrafiltration to treat wastewater before discharge and ensure water quality standards are met.

Solid waste management is collecting, treating, and disposing of solid material that is discarded because it has served its purpose or is no longer useful. Improper disposal of municipal solid waste can create unsanitary conditions, and these conditions in turn can lead to pollution of the environment and to outbreaks of vector-borne disease—that is, diseases spread by rodents and insects. The tasks of solid-waste management present complex technical challenges. They also pose a wide variety of administrative, economic, and social problems that must
The presentation is to make people aware of primary vehicular pollutants, their concentration in the atmosphere, health impacts, and possible remediations to bring down the pollution level within the threshold limits.
This presentation describes the problem of solid waste in India and also the existing methods to manage this waste. In the end I have mentioned some innovative methods of handling our waste which could change the way we perceive our garbage.

In recent conditions, the system used for washing cars is based on high speed water jet. The cleaning
consists of removing dust, mud and dirt particles. This system uses a huge amount of water during cleaning.
Prewashing is done using foam which makes the water not reusable. Hence a drainage system is required for
removing this wastewater. Hence to overcome this problem car washing using steam is preferred. The Car
Washing system using steam uses the force of steam that can clean things up. It has been discovered that steam
washing is very convenient and no soapy forms are required that can make the washing much clumsy. The reason
behind the use of steam for washing is the reduced waste of water. The development of the steam cleaning system
can revolutionize the washing process. Steam does what the commercial washing system cannot do. Steam can
easily clean dust and dirt, while for normal cleaning require expensive detergents. So, our main goal is to use
steam and do cleaning without affecting or damaging car paint.

Microfiltration is a filtration process that removes solid particles from water, by passing through filters with filtering density from 10 to 0.1 microns. Improves water features that is already good. Microfiltration removes chlorine from water, microorganisms, sediment, rust, odor, color, taste, cloudiness, making it crystal clear, good to drink and for all alimentary purpose, food production, boiling broths, soups and pasta cooking ideal for all the family and is also available in 2-way version, with sparkling water. Microfiltration does not discard water and does not remove minerals leaving unaltered (TDS). The system operates in vertical or horizontal position depending by model selected, takes up very little space and can be placed under the sink. D.M. 25, D.M. 174 Certified.

"Understanding the Carbon Cycle: Processes, Human Impacts, and Strategies for...MMariSelvam4
The carbon cycle is a critical component of Earth's environmental system, governing the movement and transformation of carbon through various reservoirs, including the atmosphere, oceans, soil, and living organisms. This complex cycle involves several key processes such as photosynthesis, respiration, decomposition, and carbon sequestration, each contributing to the regulation of carbon levels on the planet.
Human activities, particularly fossil fuel combustion and deforestation, have significantly altered the natural carbon cycle, leading to increased atmospheric carbon dioxide concentrations and driving climate change. Understanding the intricacies of the carbon cycle is essential for assessing the impacts of these changes and developing effective mitigation strategies.
By studying the carbon cycle, scientists can identify carbon sources and sinks, measure carbon fluxes, and predict future trends. This knowledge is crucial for crafting policies aimed at reducing carbon emissions, enhancing carbon storage, and promoting sustainable practices. The carbon cycle's interplay with climate systems, ecosystems, and human activities underscores its importance in maintaining a stable and healthy planet.
In-depth exploration of the carbon cycle reveals the delicate balance required to sustain life and the urgent need to address anthropogenic influences. Through research, education, and policy, we can work towards restoring equilibrium in the carbon cycle and ensuring a sustainable future for generations to come.
Characterization and the Kinetics of drying at the drying oven and with micro...Open Access Research Paper
The objective of this work is to contribute to valorization de Nephelium lappaceum by the characterization of kinetics of drying of seeds of Nephelium lappaceum. The seeds were dehydrated until a constant mass respectively in a drying oven and a microwawe oven. The temperatures and the powers of drying are respectively: 50, 60 and 70°C and 140, 280 and 420 W. The results show that the curves of drying of seeds of Nephelium lappaceum do not present a phase of constant kinetics. The coefficients of diffusion vary between 2.09.10-8 to 2.98. 10-8m-2/s in the interval of 50°C at 70°C and between 4.83×10-07 at 9.04×10-07 m-8/s for the powers going of 140 W with 420 W the relation between Arrhenius and a value of energy of activation of 16.49 kJ. mol-1 expressed the effect of the temperature on effective diffusivity.
