This document proposes a biomass briquettes project in India. It discusses the rationale for the project which is to address the problem of agricultural waste disposal. The objectives are to provide an environmentally friendly and renewable source of energy. An analysis of the biomass and energy industry in India is presented. The document outlines the investment required, production process, potential users, raw materials, and financial incentives for the proposed briquettes project.
Biomass briquetting press machines are able to grind any type of agricultural or forestry waste and convert them into useful biomass briquettes. This machines have high production capacity depends upon raw material size and quality and required less electricity to produce bio fuels.

Biomass Briquettes are bio fuel substitute to bio coal, lignite and other fossil fuels. They are used to heat industrial boilers in order to produce electricity form steam.
Distinguish between briquettes and coalshreyavaidya
The main difference between coal and briquette is pollution. Briquette does not make pollution when it burns so it is eco friendly in nature. While coal spread pollution when it is burning.

Bio Coal Briquetting is the process of converting agricultural waste into high density and energy concentrated fuel briquettes. Bio Coal Briquetting plants are of various sizes which converts agricultural waste into solid fuels. Briquettes are ready substitute of Coal/wood in industrial boiler and brick kiln for thermal application.
Every year millions of tons of agricultural waste are generated. These are either none used or burnt inefficiently in their looseform causing air pollution. Handling and transportation of these materials is difficult due to their low bulk density. These wastes can provide a renewable source of energy by converting into high-density fuel briquettes without addition of anybinder.

In 2006, India was the seventh largest net importer of oil in the world. With 2007 net imports of 1.8 million bbl/d, India is currently dependent on imports for 68 percent of its oil consumption.EIA expects India to become the fourth largest net importer of oil in the world by 2025. Unless GOI supports Ethanol Blending program it remains as a vision itself not translating in to action.

Bangladesh is the 4th largest producer of Rice in the world with an approximate yearly production of 50+ million MT. The majority of the final product is par-boiled rice, the process involves steaming. Annual Rice Husk production is about 10 million tonnes in Bangladesh. Thus Bangladesh produces a huge amount of rice husk ash and more than 80% of it finds no use and needs disposal. Such disposals are causing major Environmental hazards for the Country. Every MT of Rice Paddy produces about 40Kg of RHA thus causing total production of around 2M MT of RHA every year in Bangladesh. It is a unique opportunity for Bangladesh to use agricultural waste to produce Sodium Silicate instead of burning sand with costly natural gas. Save nature and go for Green.

Enterprise Excellence is Inclusive Excellence.pdfKaiNexus
Enterprise excellence and inclusive excellence are closely linked, and real-world challenges have shown that both are essential to the success of any organization. To achieve enterprise excellence, organizations must focus on improving their operations and processes while creating an inclusive environment that engages everyone. In this interactive session, the facilitator will highlight commonly established business practices and how they limit our ability to engage everyone every day. More importantly, though, participants will likely gain increased awareness of what we can do differently to maximize enterprise excellence through deliberate inclusion.
What is Enterprise Excellence?
Enterprise Excellence is a holistic approach that's aimed at achieving world-class performance across all aspects of the organization.
What might I learn?
A way to engage all in creating Inclusive Excellence. Lessons from the US military and their parallels to the story of Harry Potter. How belt systems and CI teams can destroy inclusive practices. How leadership language invites people to the party. There are three things leaders can do to engage everyone every day: maximizing psychological safety to create environments where folks learn, contribute, and challenge the status quo.
Who might benefit? Anyone and everyone leading folks from the shop floor to top floor.

12. Centre For Retail Management, FDDI Unreliability of electricity supplies is severe enough to constitute a constraint on the country's overall economic development The Indian energy sector faces a number of challenges. Lack of investment in mining - in spite of the economic liberalization of 1991 the coal mining sector has not seen major investments. India has not been able to develop a comprehensive solution to deal with the high levels of fly ash generated at coal power stations through the use of Indian coals. Lowering energy intensity of GDP growth through higher energy efficiency is key to meeting India's energy challenge, ensuring its energy security and tackling CO2 emissions. The first step in Briquetting is to collect a large amount of the material. 2 . Then the material is cut or crushed to make it smaller. 3. Next it is combined with a small amount of water and a substance called a binder. 4. A binder keeps the material from falling apart when the pressure is taken away.
