This document profiles 4 potential audience members for a music magazine: Ewan Sohren, Libby Cook, Matthew Henshaw, and Connor Watters. They are all 16-18 years old, Caucasian, and enjoy indie rock bands. They have limited incomes and are students. The document then evaluates how the magazine's content, imagery, and design were tailored to this target demographic of 16-20 year old Caucasian males interested in indie music based on genre conventions and survey results. Features included stories on iconic band breakups and touring disasters that would appeal to male readers.
If your heart cracks when you hear terrible stories about preschoolers having chemo when they should be having nothing but fun; if you think the teams of doctors and scientists working tirelessly to end childhood disease deserve the means to continue research and healing....

We all have good and bad thoughts from time to time and situation to situation. We are bombarded daily with spiraling thoughts(both negative and positive) creating all-consuming feel , making us difficult to manage with associated suffering. Good thoughts are like our Mob Signal (Positive thought) amidst noise(negative thought) in the atmosphere. Negative thoughts like noise outweigh positive thoughts. These thoughts often create unwanted confusion, trouble, stress and frustration in our mind as well as chaos in our physical world. Negative thoughts are also known as “distorted thinking”.

The French Revolution, which began in 1789, was a period of radical social and political upheaval in France. It marked the decline of absolute monarchies, the rise of secular and democratic republics, and the eventual rise of Napoleon Bonaparte. This revolutionary period is crucial in understanding the transition from feudalism to modernity in Europe.

6. Evaluation
• My primary target audience is Caucasian males ages 16-20 who are into indie. I have chosen this target
audience as I am a 17 year old male and it was the easy option as I know what that audience are looking
for when buying my magazine and the research I conducted was correct in that assumption. The images
I’ve used are of people conveying some emotion whilst looking at the camera for example my front cover
image is someone wearing generic clothes sat in the forest giving the assumption he doesn't care where
he is or what he’s wearing generally a convention of indie rock as a whole. The attitude from rock comes
from him looking into the camera with very little expression which is very similar to how magazines like
kerrang position their models within frame. The image for my double page spread involves someone
wearing skinny jeans and a pair of Nike shoes just as casual wear. This is very much what many of my
target audience where and not so much other audiences this is why I made my subject wear these
particular items. The cover lines as well were created to draw in the attention of my audience. During my
survey I found out that males of this age are unlikely to listen to female bands/artists therefore I included
male bands with tag lines that would peak interest in the readers with things like touring disasters and
iconic band breakups. The content within the magazine was clearly aimed towards people of this age
range as the language I use and how i address them is all common talk within teenagers and early
twenties. The lines on my contents page and adverts through out are aimed towards the audience as
within them they are advertising jobs and special offers for people who are interested in music. The
content within both of these pages is laid out quite relaxed as many other indie rock magazines are to
keep to the conventions and when conducting my survey I found most people would prefer a more relaxed
looking magazine with an informal tone than i tightly packed chunk of formal text. My magazine length
was based of other magazines like kerrang as that is the type of magazine i took inspiration from as they
were someone with similar target audience. Whilst comparing magazines I found the ones published
monthly and the ones attracting older audiences were also longer so i decided to stay away from that
route and follow the convention of my genre of music magazine.
