ASSURE lesson plan

1.  2- Teaching Holiday traditions to 4th graders. There are 20
students 11 girls, and 9 boys. There are 2 Muslims, 3
Jewish and 2 African Americans.
 Students will learn the diversity of different cultures during
their holidays. They will also learn to effectively learn to
communicate with one another. Finally they will be able to
take their research and effectively present their findings to
their classmates.
 The materials the students will need are posters and
markers, or a computer to create a PowerPoint
presentation
 Markers and poster boards will be supplied as well as
access to a computer lab to prepare their presentations
 After having the time to prepare all of their materials my
students will present their findings to their other
classmates. They will also have to come up with their own
way to test their classmates knowledge after they have
presented
 As the instructor I will be able to see that my students
have learned about different cultures other than their own
by their presenting their findings. I will also be able to see
that they have understood their findings by them having
the ability to asses their own peers on their presented
information
