However, the Rotary clubs must continue strengthen Rotary's public image as world's largest voluntary service organisation committed to peace and better understanding in the world through humanitarian service projects. This requires telling your story and sharing it with the community and other stakeholders on regular basis using various communication tools, like website, club bulletin, etc. At the same time the story must be shared with the media, to win better understanding as well as engage them to reach out to the needy. An assistant governor’s primary responsibility is to assist the governor in supporting the clubs he or she is assigned.
Assistant governors have specific responsibilities to the governor and to clubs, including helping coordinate the governor’s club visits and participating in district training events in order to meet club leaders and help them set goals and plan for the year.
Assistant governors may be allotted a budget. Check with your district for information about yours.

Lao Tzu:
Laozi (also Lao-Tzu /ˈlaʊˈdzʌ/[1] or Lao-Tze) was a philosopher and poet of ancient China. He is best known as the reputed author of the Tao Te Ching[2] and the founder of philosophical Taoism, but he is also revered as a deity in religious Taoism and traditional Chinese religions. Although a legendary figure, he is usually dated to around the 6th century BC and reckoned a contemporary of Confucius, but some historians contend that he actually lived during the Warring States period of the 5th or 4th century BC.[3] A central figure in Chinese culture, Laozi is claimed by both the emperors of the Tang dynasty and modern people of the Li surname as a founder of their lineage. Throughout history, Laozi's work has been embraced by various anti-authoritarian movements.[4]
