■ Music videos tend to use a range of long shots, close up shots and mid shots.This is
done to create emphasis on the artist, locations or the narrative of the video.
■ Close up shots may also be used on the props used within the video to create meaning
to the lyrics and create a better idea about the song or the artist.
Camera Movements
■ The Movement of the camera is used to follow and trace the artist or band.The
camera movement can also help follow the narrative if there is on in the video.
■ Camera movements may include pans, tilts , tracking or crane shots.
Editing
■ The editing consists of mainly jump cuts.
■ This is done because it allows a sudden change from one scene to another.
