What’s inspirational: The storyline is different
and unoriginal compared to other music videos.

Purpose of Video: To promote Dukes music and
himself.
What’s inspirational: Majority of the music
video is shot in first person which is different
compared to other music videos. I could also
use this in my video.

Type of Video: Conceptual / Performance
Purpose of Video: To get the viewers /
audience to know who Jack U are and to
promote their debut album.
What’s inspirational: Their video altogether is
unique as its completely different to other

promote Aviccis’ up and coming album.
What’s inspirational: The whole music video is
done hand-held and with a GoPro.

Purpose of Video: To reflect on Eds’ life and for
the audience to feel sympathy for him.
What’s inspirational: In this particular video Ed
has used photographs from the past (hence the
name photograph) to create a story of him
growing up.

Type of Video: Narrative
Purpose of Video: To promote Ed and his
album. This was also his debut song that got
him recognised.
What’s inspirational: The video is very simple
and easy to make.

themselves. This was their debut song.
What’s inspirational: The idea of having self
reflexivity is an idea I would like involve in my

them know. This song did make it into the ‘Top

colours used to give a warm atmosphere. It also
