Your previous instructions:
• Groups of 2-4
• IT IS CRITICAL THE PERFORMER CAN LIP SYNC 1 min of the song so you need to practice (it's a lot
harder than you think, trust me so please do practice).
• The song will also need to be downloaded on a phone or available on YouTube when filming (need
to play as you film/lip sync).
• We will do this on Monday July 11 so please be ready (if you aren't be prepared to get the filming
done in your free time) You can bring a prop/accessory like a hat/jacket etc if you want.
Choose one of the following song choices:
• Bastille: 'pompeii'
• Justin Bieber: 'sorry'
• George Ezra: 'Budapest'
• James Bay: 'hold back the river'
• Olly Murs: 'troublemaker'

• FYI: Performance must cut between 5 different locations within the 1 minute,
it should NOT just be 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 but go back and forth between them
• Some performance should include walking/camera movement
• Every shot to be in perfect lip sync
Post-production objectives
Your post-production objectives:
• Download track (convert to mp4) and import song and your footage
• FCPX: new library, event, project (call it ‘lip sync task’)
• Edit your video
• Performance must cut between 5 different locations within the 1 minute, it
should NOT just be 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 but go back and forth between them
• Export as MOV, upload to youtube and e-mail to Mrs Connell by end
of Tues (you have Tues lesson to edit)
• We will watch the videos in Thursday’s lesson and peer assess

1. Identify strengths in your video
2. Identify what you found difficult in this task
3. Anything you could have done to improve?
4. How did you film to ensure the you could alternate between
different locations in your video?
