Arnaldo Pomodoro is considered one of the biggest contemporary Italian sculptors, born in 1926 in Morciano di Romagna, Italy. He started as a surveyor but dedicated much of his time to sculpture using geometric shapes and unique materials like bronze, gold, silver, iron, wood and cement in his works, gaining fame particularly for his bronze spheres.
