Benjamin Lawrennson conducted research on existing racing games to inform the design of their own racing game project. This included creating an audience profile and analyzing three similar games. For planning, they created mind maps exploring three initial ideas and adding more detail to their preferred idea. They also created a mood board and schedule to manage their time. Peer feedback noted the game play was fast and jumpy, which could be improved, while agreeing the use of color appealed to the intended younger audience.
