3. Photoshop tools example 1
• An example of a tool i used to edit my pictures was curves. Once i had a layer i used
curves to make the background dull so the model was the main focus of the
magazine and she stood out. I did this by going on image, adjustments and then
curves and messing with the levels. I learnt how to do this online and many
magazines like nme magazine as you can see have dark backgrounds which make the
artist stand out.

4. Photoshop tools example 2
• Another time i used photoshop was to make my title
on my front cover, i did this is photoshop because i
liked the font and i could easily make the title behind
my models head. I did this by creating a layer and
earasing the part that overlapped the models head.

5. Indesign tools example 1
I used many tools in indesign but i used text and
text outline to make my text go bolder and look
thicker in my subscription box.

• I also used the shape tool and
made three circles on top of
each other to create the label
i did on the right.

7. Research and planning technologies
• I have used slideshare frequently on my blog, this has helped
me to create powerpoints that i can upload onto my blog.
Without slideshare i would have had to use a different
software to use and would not have been able to use
microsoft powerpoint.

magazine it allowed me to see various double
page spreads and i could incooperate all ideas
to create my new indie/rock magazine double
page spread.
