Chelsea is preparing for a pre-production period to create promotional materials for an artist. She has chosen album cover inspiration, fonts, and colors to create a consistent style and trademark look. Her schedule includes taking reference photos, designing posters, album art, singles art, and merchandise using Photoshop. She has also planned layouts, identified necessary equipment and locations, contingencies, and health and safety considerations.
Operation “Blue Star” is the only event in the history of Independent India where the state went into war with its own people. Even after about 40 years it is not clear if it was culmination of states anger over people of the region, a political game of power or start of dictatorial chapter in the democratic setup.
The people of Punjab felt alienated from main stream due to denial of their just demands during a long democratic struggle since independence. As it happen all over the word, it led to militant struggle with great loss of lives of military, police and civilian personnel. Killing of Indira Gandhi and massacre of innocent Sikhs in Delhi and other India cities was also associated with this movement.

Embracing GenAI - A Strategic ImperativePeter Windle
Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies such as Generative AI, Image Generators and Large Language Models have had a dramatic impact on teaching, learning and assessment over the past 18 months. The most immediate threat AI posed was to Academic Integrity with Higher Education Institutes (HEIs) focusing their efforts on combating the use of GenAI in assessment. Guidelines were developed for staff and students, policies put in place too. Innovative educators have forged paths in the use of Generative AI for teaching, learning and assessments leading to pockets of transformation springing up across HEIs, often with little or no top-down guidance, support or direction.
This Gasta posits a strategic approach to integrating AI into HEIs to prepare staff, students and the curriculum for an evolving world and workplace. We will highlight the advantages of working with these technologies beyond the realm of teaching, learning and assessment by considering prompt engineering skills, industry impact, curriculum changes, and the need for staff upskilling. In contrast, not engaging strategically with Generative AI poses risks, including falling behind peers, missed opportunities and failing to ensure our graduates remain employable. The rapid evolution of AI technologies necessitates a proactive and strategic approach if we are to remain relevant.

3. Style Sheet Explaination
• I chose these pictures as examples of different album covers and the range of
ideas that I could take different things from. I chose the merchandise I did because
I like the colours and how simple they all are, with just words on them. These
image styles will be used for posters and different cover art and the pictures that
have been used will be used for inspiration.
• I have chosen these fonts as I like the idea of a smooth handwritten font, as it just
looks more personal and interesting than just a block font. I will be using one of
these fonts within my tour posters, on my merchandise, and on my CD cover and
track list too. This is why I need to have good options to choose from as the font
are what my artist will be associated with.
• I chose these colours as I want to show the simplicity of the products I am making.
If I use a colour that is just a milkier version of the original, its different and simple
and I think it is something my audience would like. These colours will be used as
almost a trademark for my artist. This is because an artist needs to be recognized
by a trademark, whether this be colours or a logo. I will be using these colours on
my production, this includes posters, cd covers and cover art.

I planned to layout my so it
was more visually attractive,
this means it was 2 thirds
image and one third text. My
research showed me that CD
covers have very little
information on aside from
the artist and the title. I will
do this differently in the final
version as I will be able to
Photoshop it more creatively
with the text and colour
scheme.
5. Layout 2
Chelsea
I planned my layout for this
poster by finding a large
image in a similar position as
I want my model, with text
at the bottom. In my
production period, I will
make sure there is different
and more fun colours around
my model, and I will make
sure it look more
professional within
Photoshop.

7. Contingency Planning
Potential Issue Solution
Photos aren’t good enough, as they are blurred
and out of focus.
Make sure to leave more time than what you
need, for improvements. Also review pictures
when being taken, take more than one or two at
a time.
Models don’t turn up. Get reliable models, have backups in case.
Notify day before to remind and verify.
Photos do not save due to technical problems. Back them up to more than one place, memory
stick and emails ect.
You loose all practical work you have done and
can not get it back.
Save them in more than 1 place, back them up
to emails, memory sticks and teachers emails.
Camera doesn’t work, lens broken ect. Make sure to check camera before going into
studio to make sure you’re not wasting time.
Practical work is not how you wanted it to be,
and you are not happy with your work.
Try to leave time to improve and change things
you aren’t happy with.
8. Health and Safety
Potential Issue How will the issue be
avoided?
Trip and fall on things on the floor in the studio, such
as bags or chairs or paper.
Make sure the floor is clear of any obstacles as you
walk in and d not go in until you have checked.
Lights Fall in studio and injure someone Do not touch the lights, it is not allowed anyway.
Spill water on keyboard and get an electric shock Do not take water, or any kind of drink near the
computers, go outside or to the middle of the room
where there is no computers.
Drop heavy camera on foot Do not carry a load you can not handle.
Eyes may hurt after a long time on computer Make sure you take rest breaks and eat and drink
enough so the eyes have a rest and wont have a
reason to be hurting.
Backache after being on computers for too long Make sure that The chair is at the right height and
angle to not put strain on eyes and back, make sure
