- 1. Proposal 1 Working Title: What is it called? This can change if you think of something better later Product’s Purpose: Its to entertain people who play the game. What is the product’s purpose (entertain/educate etc.) and how will you achieve this? Genre: The genre of the game will be a mixture of a plat-former and adventure game What sort of product is it Content: the game I am making is about a knight who has been sent on a long hard quest to rescue the princess What is your product about? Discuss what you would put in it (be specific). Does it have a story? If so, discuss it here Audience: The audience of my game Is that anyone of any age can play it also the game isn’t gender specific which means that a male or female could play the game also it can also be played by people who are working class as well as higher class people can also play it. Who is your audience? Be very detailed; age, gender, social status, psychographic etc Why would your project appeal to this person? Research and Planning: In my final product I will keep the knight as the main character I will also keep the time of day to night as it allowsfor a scarier environment. What elements of your research and planning will you use in your final production? Where will you use your research and planning in your final production? Legal & Ethical Considerations: I have thought about the offensive material in my game and there will be none, I will not be restricting younger audiences getting the game as there is no violence, there will not be any thing in the game that will offend people. To ensure that I don’t offend anyone when the final product is finished I will check through the game just to make sure there is nothing offensive there. There will be no copyright material in the game except a knight, which I created from an image on Google images. I’m sure out there, there is a game where someone has to rescue another character or a person of importance throughout the game. Think about any offensive material you will include? Will you restrict younger people using/accessing it? Will it offend any social groups/religions/ethnicities? How will you ensure you do not offend anyone? Are you using characters/names/logos of existing products/IPs? Will you product be sufficiently different from existing products to not get sued for copyright infringement?
