Homeland Security Information Systems Analysis
As stated in the first chapter of the textbook, there are numerous ways homeland security goes about
informing and warning United States citizens on current or future catastrophes and hazards. One way
for people to stay informed on the current risk levels of terrorist attacks is through the Homeland
Security Advisory System, now known as the National Terrorism Advisory System. Sadly, the
information given to the public on these systems can sometimes be difficult for people to locate. As a
result, government agencies have teamed up with cell phone companies to provide an alternative, and
more accessible way to keep the public informed of not just current risks of terrorism but also useful
news updates. To better elaborate, according to one article, as of 2016 all smart phones now have the
capability to give the carrier real time warnings on tornados, hurricanes, flooding in the area, traffic
crashes, amber ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Another great quality about this new alert system is that it sends instructions to the reader on how to
prepare for unexpected weather conditions or a terrorist attack (Biersdorfer, 2016). Moving on, today
another widely used app that can help inform the public is twitter. To better explain, according to one
source, people who use twitter can now select the option of getting minute to minute updates sent
straight to their phone on information on public emergency s (Biersdorfer, 2016). All the cell phone
holder has to do is select an agency, for example, the Department Homeland Security, and the
Department will send them the same updated information that would be posted on the National
Terrorism Advisory System (Biersdorfer,

Workplace Observation Essay
In the workplace there are many different aspects of the organization. Some of the aspects or culture
of an organization are organizational diversity, dress and language, how communication flows, and
organizational policies. Below I will discuss several aspects of the company I work for and define
what the different cultures are.
How Communication Flows
As we know today there are many ways how to communicate. There is email, verbal, Internet,
intranet, etc? However, there is only two ways communications flows. There is upward
communication defined as ?communication from an employee to supervisor, supervisor to department
head, department head to vice president, and so on.? (Abbott 2005) The other flow is downward
communication, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
In my organization all the different departments of the company contribute to the Policies manual. The
policy is reviewed yearly, and addendums are made. The IT dept which is the department I am in, add
to the policy?s about Internet Usage, Email usage, storage sizes of the mailboxes etc.. We clearly state
that anything, is done on the company?s computer is subject to monitoring. In many cases mangers
advise that they want a specific employee?s Internet monitored, or email monitored. We then report
back to the manger that requested it, and they take it up with Human Resources. Our rule is that a
county manager has to request it, and has to be good reasoning. Other departments, like the legal
counsel talk about arbitration, before going to any courts. The accounting dept talks about fraud, the
human resource department talks about attendance, and leave of absences, benefits etc? you get the
idea. As you can see this easily answers many question when a new employee comes on board.
Dress and Language
The Dress code is usually defined in the policy handbook to clearly state what is expected of the
employee. There is no standard set, however, in a business environment it?s expected that women and
men dress in a formal manner shirts, slacks, ties, etc? In a restaurant they may have a uniform, at the
mall it may be that stores clothing in

Zombie Apocalypse Research Paper
Survival of the Adequately Prepared
Scientific advances such as genetic engineering have evolved to where almost any specimen
imaginable can be created. Therefore, there is nothing standing in the way of someone creating
hazardous killing machines, that can infect the humans around them. This means the likelihood of a
zombie apocalypse is greater than most people would like to believe. If this horrendous event was to
occur it is immensely important to know the precautionary steps. During a zombie apocalypse
preparation, protection, and basic necessities are needed in order to survive. Preparation plays one of
the most crucial parts in the survival of an apocalypse. First you must make a well structured plan, and
organize a group of people that can be trusted. Then assign each person a specific role that is
important in the groups survival. The main thing to be considered is the hideout location. Find a place
that is away from large cities, such as, the mountains. Zombies prefer areas where there are an
abundant amount of people, so it will be safer in dispersed areas. Preparing will insure you have the
essential elements to outlast the ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The appropriate protection gear is vital in this event. The spread of the disease that caused the
apocalypse could possibly be airborne. Therefore, respirators will be very essential. They help filter
the oxygen received from any airborne diseases, dust, or toxic fumes. Hazmat suits are similar to
respirators but they are more advanced. These suits provide protection from extreme temperatures, as
well as, chemicals and nuclear agents. Also, it is vital to have weapons to protect yourself during
attacks. An individual must consider that the zombies are drawn to loud noises like gunfire. Weapons,
such as, bows and arrows or guns with silencers would suit the situation better. These precautions and
equipment will keep your body

Allegory In Peitro Baglioni s Jealousy
Poison, a chemical that is destructive or fatal; it can also be an idea or statement. In the case of
Nathaniel Hawthorne s three short stories, there is an allegorical poison in each story. The allegory, an
abstract idea, in each story is the greedy nature in the friends of Dr. Heidegger in Dr. Heidegger s
Experiment , the love that Georgina has for Alymer in The Birthmark , and the jealousy of Peitro
Baglioni in Rappaccini s Daughter. In Dr. Heidegger s Experiment , the greedy nature of Dr.
Heidegger s friends, Mr. Medbourne, Widow Wycherly, Colonel Killigrew, and Mr. Gascoigne all
serve as a poison for themselves. They still display their self seeking, greedy nature although they are
given a second chance to change and learn from their past mistakes. Dr. Heidegger s friends want
more of the water, not realizing what they are doing to themselves. Dr. Heidegger s friends all cry
impatiently, Give us more of this wondrous water! We are younger, but we are still too old! Quick,
give us more (5). Because they ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
His poisonous nature results in the death of a young innocent girl; his only intent is to destroy
Rappaccini. Baglioni says to himself, Besides, it is too insufferable an impertinence in Rappaccini
thus to snatch the lad out of my hands as I may say, and make use of him for his infernal
experiments... Perchance most learned Rappaccini, I may foil you where you little dream of it (46).
Baglioni wants to use Giovanni for his own personal interests. He wants to wants to destroy
Rappaccini completely by taking what is spent his whole life raising. Baglioni chuckles to himself, we
will thwart Rappaccini yet... but, let us confess the truth of him...and therefore not to be tolerated by
those who practice the good old rules of the medical profession (54). He wants people to see who

I Was Snow On The Ground And Snowflakes Covering My Window
Essay 1
There was snow on the ground and snowflakes covering my window. The trees were left bare and
shivering. What was it that had brought me here? For all my life I had lived in California, in the center
of urban life, and now I was living on the east coast, near no major city and inside miles of woods. It
was my parents ambition that brought us to Pennsylvania. They hoped moving would give us a better
life, one where my father would not be away from the family weeks at a time, traveling around the
world for business.
Despite our hopes, my father s work once again became very stressful and my mother faced racism
and prejudice. Workers refused to return her calls because of her accent, while they would promptly
respond when my father, with his American accent called. A cafe in town treated customers unequally
based upon their origin and wealth. And the first question a new person asked us was where we lived;
either we qualified to be friends with them or not.
However, my family s history assured us that we could find happiness in our new home. As a child,
my grandparents sent my mother from Iran to America to give her a better life. Her relatives were also
sent away, causing me to have family all over the globe. I have visited family in Rome, France,
Singapore, and all across the US. Seeing them working as biologists, writers, physicist, and artists has
shown me that anything is possible and that passion in my work would help me through any
hardships. So, I took

What sections of the Jacket do you enjoy reading? Why? Everything, I think I ve read an article from
every section and I think they are all good. I enjoy reading about the school because it helps me
understand what it will be like next year at the school What do you think are the Jacket s strengths?
What could be improved? I ve only read about thirty articles of the Jacket, and I have loved every
single one. They are so educational and professional! Everything is well written and well researched.
Even the opinion articles take a look at both sides. What could be improved? I have no idea.
Everything seems well written and thought out. It would be cool if there was a youtube channel, where
articles are translated into video form, but it seems unlikely. Why do you want to join the Jacket? (Be

possess that you feel would make you a good writer? How would you use these skills to contribute to
the Jacket? I have a good vocabulary, I can find reliable sources, I enjoy interviewing people and can
get them to relax and answer questions honestly. I have already worked in a newspaper and I really
enjoyed it. Because of my experience I can write unbiasedly. I am always on time and I don t mind

I Am About Last Night
I wake up just enough to roll over. As I do so, the annoying, repetitive sound of my alarm clock fills
my ears. I groan and roll myself out of bed. I trudge over to my dresser and turn the alarm off. I don t
feel like going to school today, especially since I know that Dad will be calling Mom while I m gone.
As I walk to the bathroom, I grab my phone from my desk. I see that I have two new messages and
one new email. I read the first message, which is from my mom, telling me that she d be gone this
morning. I open the second message, and of course, it s from Damon.
Text to Karrison from Damon:
Good morning, beautiful. I hope you have an amazing day! I m still very sorry about last night. I know
I must have disappointed you, and I feel awful. I promise that I ll make it up to you!
Well, I don t know how he would expect that he disappointed me. I m great at hiding my emotions! I
wonder how he s going to try to make it up to me.
I walk over to the mirror and almost shriek at my appearance. My eyes are crusty, and my long, brown
hair is sticking out in all directions. I was painfully reminded of Einstein. I look down at my sink and
groan. I look like an Einstein raccoon! I forgot to clean my makeup off before I went to sleep. Looks
like I have a bunch of work to do before I leave for school.
With excitement, I realize it s Friday and almost jump up and down. Face and hair or outfit first? I
should try to do something with my hair first. I wash my face and dry

The Parliamentary Power Of Finland
Finland is a parliamentary democracy with a multiparty political system. It has a mixed presidential
and parliamentary system with executive powers divided between the president and the prime
minister. The president is the head of state and the commander in chief of the Defense Forces who
oversees national security and foreign affairs. The president is elected for a term of six years and may
hold up to two consecutive terms maximum. The president s power has been slightly reduced since the
constitutional change in 2000 giving the prime minister, who is appointed by the president, a little
more power. Although its power has weakened, it still plays an important part in political affairs. The
legislative power of Finland is allocated to the Finnish Parliament. It consists of 200 members that are
elected every 4 years. The Parliament has three main function; it passes laws, it approves the national
budget, and it oversees the government. The executive power is exercised by the Council of State,
which is led by the prime minister. The Council of State is the government and it has 12 ministries that
are responsible for their own department of the government such as the Ministry of Finance, Justice,
etc.
Finland s economy is highly industrialized and very dependent on its exports, primarily on high tech
manufactured goods and its forestry industry. It s so dependent that exported goods make up nearly a
third of Finland s GDP. It s three main importing and exporting partners are

While in college he organized Disco Dandiya in his own locality first of its kind in south Mumbai. It
was first popular trend that he picked on early and was able to capitalize on it. So as one grows and
starts to learn and understand life, he starts to question as well. At a very early stage, one starts
creating mental models to interpret various observations. At that point if one finds that what he has
learnt on his own is different from what is being practiced in reality. He tries to distinguish the right
from the wrong. He soon starts to seek answer to everything and then life transforms. So attitude of
questioning is very important. Until one questions the establish way of doing things, one won t be able

Some mental health professionals believe that TMS may offer a treatment options with fewer potential
side effects, allow patients to remain in remission longer, and be more cost effective.
Electroconvulsive Therapy Electroconvulsive therapy (ECT) is procedure that involves deliberately
inducing a generalized seizure by passing small electrical currents directly through the brain. The
patient is placed under general anesthesia and given a muscle relaxant. Two electrodes are placed on
either side of the scalp and then the brain is stimulated with a series of brief electrical pulses in order
to induce the seizure, which last approximately one minute. The patient awakens five to ten minutes
after the ECT treatment (https://www.psychiatry.org/patients families/ect).
History of Electroconvulsive Therapy Scientists and professionals in the medical community have
long recognized that head trauma, convulsions, and high fevers could be good for improving mental
disturbances. In fact, Hippocrates noted that malaria induced convulsions were able to cure insane
patients. In the Middle Ages, some physicians observed the same phenomenon in

Network Design Essay
3 General Ideas:
The three general ideas which are interesting to my preference would be,
Network Security
Network Architecture and
Artificial Intelligence
1. Network Security:
Keeping a network secured is always mandatory because information cannot be share by a person who
is unauthorized and network security is an advanced procedure where it will prevent possible access or
misuse of information on network or modify any data on the network without having an access to it.
There are several ways of network security by which a network can be secured.
The three sub areas which I have selected in Network Security are,
Data Loss Prevention: Any company which has a network and few work stations which work on this
network should make sure ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
So, NAC (Network Access Control) is the process which will be giving limited access depending on
their designation.
2. Network Architecture:
This is one of the most important phase while creating a secured network. Network architecture will
discuss the design of network which has both software and hardware connectivity along with process
of transmission and communications in both wired or wireless networks. There are few topologies
(star, bus, loop or mesh) and types of networks (LAN, WAN or MAN) which are to be considered and
then need to work on the architecture accordingly.
The three sub areas which I have selected for Network Architecture are,
Planning of Network Design: A proper planning of a network design will always lead to better results.
Planning should be done in such a way that network should always run properly and should be secured
24/7. Strong firewalls and updated components are to be picked for proper planning of network. There
should always be a space in network so that we can either expand or add few more components to
network which will make network even more big. Blueprints of networks must be made prior to
network design because they are the ones which will be helpful in designing the actual network.
Data Transfers within the network: Making sure that data is

The Notebook Directed By Nick Cassavetes
It was an improbable romance. He was a country boy. She was from the city. She had the world at her
feet, while he didn t have two dimes to rub together. In the 2004 movie the Notebook directed by Nick
Cassavetes we see an unlikely romance between a rich city girl, Allie Hamilton (Rachel McAdams),
and a poor country boy Noah Calhoun (Ryan Gosling). Based on the bestselling book by Nicholas
Sparks, the Notebook shows us how relationships change throughout different stages of our lives but
love will never diminish.
The film begins with a scene at a nursing home, where see an old man, Duke, reading to a woman,
Allie, whose memory has started to slip due to Alzheimer s. He pulls an old notebook and in a
flashback we are taken to Seabrook Island, North Carolina in the 1940 s. This is where we meet Noah
Calhoun a dirt poor local kid who is played by Ryan Gosling. Gosling, who is undeniably one of the
most popular actors of our generation, does an outstanding job portraying his character. His ease and
confidence makes us believe he was made to play this role. When he tells Allie that relationships are
something you don t give up on So it s not gonna be easy. It s going to be really hard; we re gonna
have to work at this every day, but I want to do that because I want you. I want all of you, forever,
every day. You and me He speaks with such great passion and emotion that it tugs at our heartstrings.

PG and Research Department of Chemistry, GTN Arts College, Dindigul, Tamilnadu, India
Abstract
The removal of phenol from aqueous solution was evaluated by batch method using two ion exchange
resins, Duolite A 171 (DLE 171) (a strong anion exchange resin) and Duolite A 368 plus (DLE 368) (a
weak anion exchange resin) and a nonfunctionalized Duolite S 861 (DLE 861) resin. The maximum
removal capacity was achieved at pH 11. The removal of phenol was found to be in the following
order DLE 171 DLE 368 DLE 861. The mechanism involved in the process was found to be both
adsorption and ion exchange. The resin was characterized using FTIR and SEM with EDAX analysis.
The equilibrium data were fitted to Freundlich isotherm. The kinetics of the sorption was found to
follow pseudo second order and intraparticle diffusion models. The values of thermodynamic
parameters indicate the nature of sorption is spontaneous and exothermic.
Keywords: Removal of Phenol; Polymeric Resins; Duolite A 171; Duolite A 368; Duolite S 171.

Sexism In Sports
Sexism in Sports Sexism limits our country. In a world where sexism still exists, women face
challenges every day as they choose to embark in athletic activities. Even with the efforts of Title IX,
which was established in 1972, there is not equality in sports for men and women. Sexism is real with
stereotypes and discrimination on the basis of sex. Even with the high level of success reached by
numerous female athletes of many different sports, male athletes always seem to have the upper hand.
Whether it is pay, media, support, gear, or playing grounds, one sex always has the better of the two.
Male athletes dominate a field that truly is shared by both sexes. What if we treated male athletes the
way we treat female athletes? That is a world hard to imagine, and honestly, it shouldn t be. Through
female athletes sharing their stories of unfair treatment and pay, sexism and generations of inequality
in sports can be overcome. Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 states, No person in the
United States shall, on the basis of sex, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or
be subjected to discrimination under any education program or activity receiving Federal financial
assistance. The impact of Title IX on the lives of so many girls is immeasurable. It has created
opportunities for women, where opportunities did not use to exist. Unfortunately, it has not completely
eradicated sexism. Women in many professional sports, which are also played by

The Tories Research Paper
The Tories were compiled disgruntled young Irishmen whose ancient hatred for the English coupled
with the spectacle of defeat, despair and degradation was sufficient reason to continue resistance .
They were led by dispossessed noblemen and Irish officers. They mostly attacked livestock but were
not against killing an Englishman once in a while. The English s punishment for Tories was strict and
after a band of Tories killed two Protestants in Lackagh, 4 Irishmen were hanged for not preventing
the murder and others, including 2 priests and an 80 year old woman were sent to Barbados. Since the
Irish usually just took livestock though, the English would just tax the town closest to where the
livestock was taken. Frequently, the town could not pay this and this would cause the government to
tax the surrounding areas. This in turn would cause many more men to become Tories due the
economic strife being inflicted on them by the English. It got so bad in some areas that Catholic
swordsmen were allowed to stay in some ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
When the Adventurers arrived on their lands, they often found the former Irish owners still living on
it. Little sympathy was found amongst the English military officers due to their newfound economic

almost a decade . The Adventures, who were made up of mostly London merchant, had all the Anti
Catholic prejudices that were all too common at the time of their arrival . But little to nothing was
actually done to rid the area of the Irish who were doing labor. The Adventures also made up only a
small group that had little influence over policies in Ireland at the time. Shortly after the Adventurers

17th Century Literature Throughout Europe
14th Century Literature in Europe The 14th century consisted of many different events, which then
lead to a rise in literary movements and influential writers. The writers and poets of medieval Europe
created their own tropes and themes throughout the entire history of the century. 14th century
literature is greatly impacted by many factors: historical, religious, aesthetic. The 14th century also
contained a mass of literary movements, often times coexisting with the aforementioned factors.
Historical Events and Context Peasants Revolt The Peasants Revolt was an aftermath of the Black
Death, which also greatly influenced literature and arts throughout its course. The Peasants Revolt
year 1381 significantly altered literature during the course of the 14th century. The Peasants Revolt
was unique in its significance because what is considered modern day England was the only medieval
society to have a peasants revolt (Swain). Naturally, such a huge uprising brings influence with it.
Besides the Bubonic Plague, another reason for the Peasants Revolt occurred due an expanding middle
class, which then in turn took land away from Nobles. This land crisis caused the Nobility to have an

Isolation In One Flew The Cuckoo s Nest
Many times directors or famous playwrights are forced to choose between to astounding leads when
creating a production. Both characters play large roles in a production however the main character or
lead role of the play ends up being the central focus of the production that is told through the
perspective of another character that often serves as a vehicle for an director to subtlety alter and
reveal a larger plot at the end. This is what Ken Kesey author of One flew the Cuckoo s Nest was
forced to do when choosing between the primary character named McMurphy and Bromden as
narrators for his novel. However McMurphy was not selected as the narrator because he could not

During their time in the electro shock chamber McMurphy was not only able to continue growing
bigger (Kesey 305) in the eyes of the patients, but Bromden was able to resist the fog that had been
caused by the electro shock exposure so many times before and regain his individuality along with his
sense of size again. By returning Bromden s individuality to him and gravely injuring Ratched upon
his return to the ward McMurphy had finally dealt a crippling blow to Ratched s iron grip of control
over the ward that he had been loosening since his arrival. For McMurphy s attack he was turned into
a vegetable, but adding insult to injury even in a severely weakened state McMurphy had i taken away
Ratched s biggest symbol of power over the ward in Bromden. Bromden was her symbol of power
because for so long Ratched was able to control Bromden making a patient who towered over her
physically feel small and powerless under the constant oppression of Ratched as she made him
nothing more than a metaphorical slave through her tight control of the ward s schedule. Now with no
symbol of power the patients McMurphy risked so much helping took away both her control of the
ward and their fear of her. During the chaos created by this new power vacuum many patients began to
help and start thinking for themselves

Tiananmen Research Paper
After few days later, October 1st will be China s 68th birthday. There are going to be a magnificent
celebration ceremony at Tian An Men square. In 1949, Chairman Mao boarded the gate tower of
Tiananmen and then announced to the world in his native mandarin that new China was founded after
the Chinese people won a peaceful and stable country after decades of fighting. In the meantime, we
have the awakening of our own consciousness and the struggle between different ideologies of

I have a different opinion since it represents different symbols at different times. Over the past 100
years, Tiananmen square has been reshaped, reshaped and expanded. It reflects the political changes of
a country. In the beginning of the history, Tiananmen, which primitive name is ChengTian Gate, was
not only the main gate of the Qing and Ming dynasties, but also the important place for the great
celebrations and the national decree, and the majesty of the emperor. On February 12, 1912, on the
tiananmen gate, the emperor announced his decision to abdicate. In May 1914, Beiyang government
launched a plan to transform the old capital city. The first steps was to remove thousand steps corridor
so that tiananmen square could turn the enclosed palace square into an open space for freedom of
passage and sojourn. The original majesty and mysterious imperial power were dissolved. Few years
later, because of dissatisfaction with the Beiyang government at the end of the first world war
diplomatic failure on the Paris peace conference , on May 4, 1919, thousands of students gathered near
Tiananmen square, took out the slogan for sovereign externally to punish kleptocratic , to force the

No Easy Way Out
The war between capital punishment and life without parole is an ongoing debate being waged
between the states. Capital Punishment, or the death penalty, is the process by which an individual is
put to death by the state for a capital offense, whereas life without parole is when a capital offender is
sentenced to a life behind bars with no opportunity for freedom. The choice to adopt or abolish capital
punishment is up to each state, and it is the state s verdict to determine if capital punishment is unjust
or not. I do not believe in the capital punishment for four very important reasons: to execute an inmate
the humane and correct way costs more than a lifetime in prison, it is not a deterrent for crime, the
innocent may be wrongly ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The FBI has found that states that enforce the death penalty have a higher murder rate than those who
have abolished it. I believe we should increase the number of police officers, reduce drug abuse, and
improve our economy so that it has more jobs to lower the rate of crime in our nation, not kill people
who want to be killed (Hugo). On occasion, the judicial system is found of unlawfully accusing
innocent victims to life without parole and have sent them to Death Row. Studies have shown that
since 1992, fifteen inmates on Death Row have been set free for being proven innocent. Such a high
number indicates a high possibility that more inmates may be exonerated in the future for crimes they
did not commit. No person should be put to death in that manner, I would rather them be forced to
suffer an eternity in a minute, confined cell with nothing than for them to be put down. DNA advances
are being made to allow scientists and law enforcement officers to better determine the responsible
party for each case, and so those wrongly accused may get a reprieve from their sentence to be set free
(Crime Library). These are only a few of the several reasons that capital punishment should not be
implemented into our jail system, but there must be some upsides to this cruel punishment, right?
Prison systems across the nation are growing ever more crowded by the year.

Essay on Reconstruction
In 1865, the Civil war was finally brought to an end. The five years of war was the nation s most
devastating and wrenching experience. Although the Union was saved and slavery had ended, the
South being defeated and occupied by union forces was ruined and in a state of disaster. Public
structures, private homes, and farm buildings had been burnt, rail road tracks uprooted, cotton gins
wrecked, and the earth scorched in many sections of the defeated land. The nation s next task was to
rebuild the ruined South and the government s plan to do this is known as Reconstruction.

Johnson required that the new states ratify the 13th Amendment freeing the slaves, abolish slavery in

The Radical Republicans reconstruction plan included the passage of the 13th Amendment and

A Perspective On Human Rights
INSTITUTIONAL CHANGE
Having identified that the legalist perspective is crude, in that it fails to recognise the broader moral
nature of human rights, and restrictive, in its recognition, utilisation and understanding of human right,
allows a further debasement of the perspective, in that it utterly misinterprets human rights violations
by both individualising, and decontextualizing them
This point picks up a recurrent theme of this paper, that a legalist perspective on human rights has a
reactionary approach with a focus on identifying the wrongdoer of a human rights violation , rather
than to set peremptory guidelines that outline how to live and act in harmony with human rights or
seeking to bring about any overarching change in behaviour , or indeed, systematic institutional
change. This method of focusing only on the wrongdoer foreshadows the danger Arndt waned of in
that a society can convince itself that by identifying and removing all the bad men it has sufficiently
and absolutely dealt with the evil.
Law, particularly Criminal Law, negatively effects the lens on which we view the human rights
movement. Though criminal law is by no mean the only legal enforcement avenue available, it has
nevertheless become the enforcement tool of choice[11]. As the criminal law lens seeks to identify the
bad man it utterly individualises and decontextualizes our understand of human rights as the lens hold
no capacity to recognise the bureaucracy, societal issues or

The Sentence Task Shown by Michelle Obama and the North...
Imagine books are buildings, then sentences are the very foundation of them. For long, sentences has
been the most essential way to exchange information, to express feelings and to share values and
thoughts. The art of rhetoric is applied in the sentences to carry out messages more efficiently. During
my research process, I have to commit that as a foreign language speaker, I found it really hard at first.
Inspired by the history of rhetoric, I started searching for speeches and eventually I managed to find
two interesting sentences.
Both sentences come from two outstanding women who have grown up with different education and
culture background. One of them, Mrs. Obama, first lady of the United States, is quite familiar to us.
Michelle Obama was born into an ordinary family in Chicago, brought up by her stay at home mother
and plumber father. She worked hard and graduated from Princeton University and Harvard Law
School.Later on she became a well known attorney.(The National First Ladies Library,2013) In
contrast to the First Lady, the other speaker, Hyeonseo Lee, does not bear such fame. She actually has
been a North Korean refugee since her childhood. Born in North Korea, Hyeonseo Lee left for China
in 1997 during a serious famine occurred in North Korea. She now lives in South Korea, as an activist
for her fellow refugees.(TED,2013) Given the brief biography of both ladies with significant

How Did Galileo Galilei Impact The World

showing the positive outcomes out of Galileo and the discoveries he has made. Galileo Galilei was,
known as the father of science, was an important and influential figure in history that had a

out of him was how the world see s everything right now. As america now, they can discover new
things and send people into space and other things such as not being scared to sail the sea and fall of
the crest of the world. To add on, because of this notice in space that galileo did, impacted on how
movies and other ideas were created. For example, star wars.
Now maybe not all came out positive though. The negative impact was that because of these
astonishing discoveries, religious people started to question their religious beliefs. Problems started to

viewed their life. As well as a major world time event, the thirty years of war in between the catholics

Description Of A Relational Database
NoSQL is the generalized term to describe a relational database that uses no form of SQL language
querying and consists of several data models to define it. My topic of this research paper is the
Document Store data model. I will be covering the introduction of the model and its mechanics, how
and when the model emerged, its strengths and weaknesses, and it s real world applications.
Introduction and How it Works
Document Store or Document oriented database is a data model within the NoSQL family, made for
storing, retrieving, and managing document based information. The concept revolves around
documents containing large amounts of data. A variety of documents are accepted, from there they are
encapsulated into an internal format, and ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Both use the Document database concept, but differ in it s process and tools. Julie Lerman explains in
her article What the Heck Are Document Databases that Raven DB was written for the Microsoft
.NET Framework and growing in popularity.
Model Emergence
In the 1970s, relational databases were introduced with data schemas simple and straightforward,
conceiving objects as sets of relationships. as mentioned in the Document Database webpage an article
object might be related to category (an object), a tag (another object), and a comment (another object)
.
These relationships between different types of data were defined in a database schema, the relational
database could be queried with a standard Structured Query Language (SQL). These SQL based
databases require a fixed amount of tables, a fixed amount of columns in each table, with each column
represent a fixed data type (integer, string, etc). Consequently fields of data stored in each column
must comply with the structure of the database and its tables. whatever data you want to store must be
known to create an appropriate database schema, this is the concept behind relational databases.
NoSQL was created to remedy the architecture of relational databases, to make the schema more
dynamic and ever expanding. With the emergence of cloud computing, unstructured data such as
social media posts in need of storage, and Agile development practice, The Document

Divorce causes many problems for children and has many implications. Psychological implications
include mental health problems and behavioral problems. Social roles are turned inside out and upside

Because children of divorce are under a lot of stress and tend to worry about a lot of different things,
they can and some do develop mental health issues that can stick with them through their entire
lifetime. Anxiety is often found in children that are going a divorce. However, child with an anxiety
disorder might always think of the negative side of a situation, or may have dreadful experiences even
in pleasant circumstances. It is important to know that in all cases of anxiety a child will worry too
much about things it is when it becomes a long term problem that it may be a disorder or mental
health issue.
Another mental health problem a child can develop is depression. A child with depression may be sad
more often than not, feel guilty or helpless, and may lose interest in pleasurable things or things they
previously enjoyed. Other mental health issues that may arise from the divorce of the child s parents
are antisocial behavior and hyperactivity (Strohscein, 2012).
Behavioral Effects of Divorce on Children According to Marquart (2006), after a divorce the job of
making sense of the two worlds and the conflicts that arise between them doesn t go away it gets

African Elephants In Kingdom Animalia
African elephants, Loxodonta africana, are found in Kingdom Animalia. They re native to the
rainforests in central and West Africa and are also located in the sub Saharan Africa ( African ).
Elephants are herbivores, meaning they only consume plants for nutrients. They begin the
extracellular digestion process when the food enters through the mouth. They break it down
mechanically with their teeth. It then travels down their esophagus, into their stomachs, and then
makes its way down to their intestines. Elephant intestines can reach up to 19 meters (64 feet). The
waste is then emptied when the elephant defecates (MacKenzie). Elephants use their kidneys for
excretion. When they build up ammonia, they turn it into urea. The urea is released through urine.

males are ready to mate around the age of 40 or 50, and the females are prepared for breeding at about

Elephants have endoskeletons that provide structural support. Another part of their skeletal system
includes joints that are held together by ligaments which help land mammals to move comfortably.
Their muscles also control movement. The tendons connect their muscles to their bones. All together,
these structures control how the elephant is able to stand, walk, bend, and other such movements.
An elephant has a strong sense of smell and hearing. The trunks of elephants are extremely sensitive to
the touch. They have many nerve endings that send information to the brain. These same nerve
endings are located in the bottom of the elephants feet. When they sense danger, they prepare to
protect themselves. While they do not like to fight, they have stable tusks to help them protect
themselves and thick outer skin

The Effects Of Fertility Transition On Women s Growth...
With the world running out of resources and struggling to sustain the recent boom in world
population, governments around the world have been responding by trying to curb population growth
with population programmes. Fertility Transition is a process whereby a country changes from a high
birth rate to lower birth rate and is measured in terms of number of live births per 1000 women. This
process usually occurs when a country is developing. Countries which are undergoing fertility
transition in recent years have undergone a much more rapid transformation than when the present day
developed economies underwent transition a couple hundred years ago. High fertility is often
associated with poverty as there is a lack of education, healthcare and lack of sustainability within a
country. The reasons which cause a country to experience fertility transition include; the changing of
economy structure or economic growth, investment in education and the provision/subsidisation of
contraception.
Cuba is a government planned economy with poor economic prospects and a low fertility rate of 1.46
in 2014, down from 4.6% in 1963. Following the Cuban revolution, the was a big peak in fertility as
doctors whom over saw abortions left the country and a US embargo led to a big shortage in the
availability of contraception. The newfound communist government provided family planning as well
as allowing pharmacies to sell oral contraceptives and condoms without the need of a prescription.

Or, at least what was left of it. All of the tables full of beakers, instruments, and new robotic limbs
were gone leaving only a few shards of glass on the bare tile floors. Two men with NHO tags on their
shoulders were beating on the door to the lounge. Jason quietly snuck up behind them, lined up a shot
with the skull of the one on the left and pulled the trigger. Boom! Dead. The other man whipped
around but Jason was quick and tackled him. A long struggle ended with the sickening pop of the
soldiers neck. Jason typed in a passcode and the lounge door squeaked open. Oh thank God! Jason
heard a familiar voice say from inside the lounge. He was suddenly embraced by his wife. She let go
of him after a few seconds. Sorry a deep voice said menacingly behind Jason. Suddenly a sharp pain
in Jason s right shoulder made his fall to the ground, blood pouring from the freshly made hole
through his shoulder. A huge cyborg man kneeled beside him. Your God has left you. The last thing
Jason saw as he fainted was Alexandria being dragged away by the hooded man with the large
augmented man walking next to him. This time Jason woke up in an much more familiar place. He
was in the bed of his apartment in downtown Houston 6 blocks away from the Firus facility. He went
over to his computer and booted it up. A familiar burnt orange background with black stripes lit up in

William Bradford And Dekanawida In The Iroquois Constitution
William Bradford and Dekanawida were similar in many ways. Both were leaders in history, and used
their skills to unite people. Bradford helped organize and govern the Plymouth Colony. Dekanawida
organized and united five tribes through the Iroquois Constitution. Although they belonged to do very
different cultures and societies, they had many similarities. Bradford and Dekanawida shared a
common philosophy, rulemaking process, and belief in destiny. When governing and leading their
people, William Bradford and Dekanawida had the same philosophy. They both strived to unite their
people and maintain peace. When governing the new colonists of the Plymouth colony, Bradford
sought to create unity and work together. He wanted the colonists to work ... Show more content on

Another similarity between William Bradford and Dekanawida is the rules that they enforced when
leading their people. Both sets of rules and laws were centered around avoiding violence and
preserving the wellbeing of the society. In the Iroquois Constitution, Dekanawida states, People of the
Five Nations members of a certain clan shall recognize every other member of that clan, irrespective
of the Nation, as relatives. which basically means that tribe members should treat each other kindly.
Bradford probably had similar rules in the Plymouth Colony. These rules are what allowed the success
of the two groups. The final similarity between William Bradford and Dekanawida is their belief in
destiny. They both believe that a higher force is what led them to take initiative. ...as by God s good
providence they did. That quote from Of Plymouth Plantation shows Bradford s belief in destiny. He
believes that providence led him to take on his role as a leader. Dekanawida s beliefs come mostly
from his past. He even said that It is my business to stop the shedding of blood among human beings.
He interpreted events from his childhood as a sign that he should continue living and unite the tribes.
Both of those quotes demonstrate how Bradford and Dekanawida believed in their own

Theme Analysis of the play Trifles Essay
A play can be analyzed in multiple ways. One of these ways is through the play s theme. The theme of
a work is often a statement about life and the human condition. In the play Trifles by Susan Glaspell,
the theme noticing the little things can make a difference can be explained through plot, character, and
setting.
The theme can be developed through the plot. In Trifles, Mr. Wright was found murdered in his bed,
so the police arrested his wife. Mrs. Hale and Mrs. Peters, neighbors of the Wrights, went to Mrs.
Wright s house to pick up some things for her while she was in jail. As they were looking for Mrs.
Wright s sewing kit, the women found a birdcage with its door torn open in the cupboard. After
looking some more, Mrs. Hale and Mrs. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Wright as the murderer.
Along with plot, character can help develop the theme. Mrs. Hale and Mrs. Peters say that Mrs.
Wright used to be lively and social, and used to sing in the choir. However, Mrs. Wright now stays in
her home most of the time. The women also say that Mr. Wright was a hard man. He might have made
Mrs. Wright give up her friends and her singing. When Mrs. Wright got a canary, Mr. Wright might
have strangled it because he did not like its singing. Mrs. Wright might then have murdered Mr.
Wright for taking away the one thing she had left.
Setting can also be used to develop the theme. The setting in the play was Mrs. Wright s kitchen. The
Wrights house was isolated, down in a hollow. The isolation, coupled with not going to town any
more, might have felt terrible for Mrs. Wright. In the 1920 s, the woman s place was traditionally in
the kitchen, so any clues about Mrs. Wright would be in her kitchen. She had left a mess out in the
kitchen: a half wiped table, unwashed pots and pans, a dishtowel lying out, and a misplaced loaf of
bread. Mrs. Wright would only have left a mess if she was in a hurry or was interrupted, such as by
Mr. Wright coming in and killing the canary.
Mrs. Hale and Mrs. Peters showed that noticing the little things could make a difference. By noticing
the mess in the kitchen and finding the strangled canary, Mrs. Hale and Mrs. Peters were able to figure
out that Mrs. Wright killed Mr.

Nuclear Fission And Photovoltaic Energy
According to the Nuclear Energy Institute (NEI), Nuclear energy has a 92% efficiency rating, it is the
highest rating of all other alternative energy sources! Paired with a more environmentally friendly
source like solar, it could be what saves the world from climate change. Nuclear fission and
Photovoltaic energy would bring many benefits to a place like Denver, Colorado. These two sources
would work well together in this place because of the environmental impact, the cost of the sources,
and the efficiency of the two sources. Denver is the ideal location for these two energy sources. In
order for nuclear and solar to work well together the sources need to be located in an isolated desert
area. The location also has to be sunny and a ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Mainly because of global warming and the effects it has on our climate today. Alternative energy
could provide the solution to this because it could eliminate or at least minimize the amounts of
carbon dioxide released into the atmosphere. Scientists have found that CO2 is a direct contributor to
global warming and alternative energy could save the planet. The two alternative energy sources,
nuclear and solar, could help with this issue. They would be most effective in Denver, Colorado
because it is a desert area that gets very little rainfall and it allows for isolation. Both nuclear and solar
would help because both of these sources do not emit any carbon dioxide into the atmosphere. They
also benefit from each other in areas like cost, efficiency, waste and many others. Climate change is
not going to stop anytime soon unless something changes for the better. The only way to save the
planet is by changing the way we generate our energy. Global warming was a problem caused by the
most recent generation and it is now the next generation s job to fix it. Be a part of the

Kia Soul Advantages And Disadvantages
With all the advantages that comes with the Kia Soul, there are a few advantages that the company
should consider before making the purchase. The Kia Soul has a below average fuel rating. It gets 24
mpg in the city and 30 mpg on the highway, which is not good fuel efficient for a car of its size or
when compared to the competition. The car only comes in front wheel drive only, which can make it
hard to drive during the winter in Chicago. Finally, when it comes to the engine performance, it comes
with 1.6 liter four cylinder that puts out 130 horsepower, which can make it feel weak for some
driving situations. Below is the 2017 Kia Soul with some of its features. Hybrid Vehicles Many
consumers are becoming more environmentally conscious about the kind of vehicles they drive and
how they impact the environment, as a result, hybrid cars are becoming more popular. Hybrid vehicles
conserves fuel and produces less carbon oxide emissions, as a result, many cities in the United States
are switching their public transportation and other service vehicles to hybrid cars. In addition to being
environmentally friendly, hybrid vehicles have less dependence on fossil fuels, has a regenerative
braking system, they are built from light material, they have high resale value, and they are financial
benefits of having a hybrid vehicle. There are disadvantages to owning a fleet of hybrid vehicles. They

Examples Of Logical Fallacies In The Crucible
Logical Fallacies in The Crucible Individuals can connect two varying events to form assumptions
that they base solely on the order of events, known as a post hoc ergo propter hoc fallacy. Corey Giles
states how his wife reading books certainly ties to his ability to pray: and then she close her book and
walks out of the house. And suddenly mark this I could pray again (Miller 40). Miller shows how
individuals can place blame on others with very little proof. This scene depicts how individuals can
believe that events which occur sequentially do not necessarily have a connection. Therefore, these
wrong conclusions can cause individuals to wrongly place blame on others. Mrs. Putnam recognizes
Goody Osburn as a witch because of their past encounters: ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net

Mrs. Putnam assumes the Devil influences her daughter because of her illness: she ails as she must she
never waked this morning, but her eyes open and she walks, and hears naught, sees, naught, and
cannot eat. Her soul is taken, surely (Miller 13). Miller inputs a hasty generalization into this scene to
implicate how quickly individuals can form incorrect conclusions. One must gather multiple reasons
to logically make generalizations. In the play, many individuals accuse others based upon abrupt
criticisms, leading to confusion and miscommunication of information. Giles Corey explains how
others use improbable reasoning for incriminating his wife: he goes to court and claims that from that
day to this he cannot keep a pig alive for more than four weeks because my Martha bewitch them with
her books (Miller 72). Miller portrays how hasty generalizations can cause wrongful consequences to
fall on innocent individuals. Accusations form when people want to find answers to every dispute,
even when they cannot find solutions. As shown in The Crucible, unevaluated observations can affect
others when they mistakenly place blame on

robbery had anything to do with the murder of the king. The sun was still shining when he got there
since it wasn t that far away from the castle. As he was approaching, he saw a man running then turn
into the woods and jump over a bush. Almost instantly after doing so a bird flew out of the trees which
caught his attention. He started descending slowly to enter the forest and see what that man was doing
in there.

Professional Identity In Counseling
According to Remley and Herlihy (2015), professional counselor identity is defined by the process of
ascertaining the history and development of counseling related professions, articulating the roles and
functions of counselors and related professions, describing the differences and similarities of
counseling and other professions, participating in professional organizations, being knowledgeable
about the legal and ethical issues in counseling, and advocating for clients and the profession.
A strong professional identity allows individuals to establish a strong sense of self before assisting
clients with their personal identity. It is important that we know who we are and what we have to offer
the counseling profession. Having a strong professional identity allows counselors to emerge from
school and go into the work setting with a sense of pride and confidence about their defining role in
the counseling profession. If the professional identity is not developed early in the learning process, it
leaves the identity to be established within the workplace. Having a strong professional identity
communicates to others that you are competent and that your services are important. Better outcomes

The Most Valuable Lessons Learned In Leadership
What is the most valuable lesson you have learned in a leadership role?
Leadership roles have taught me many things throughout my primary school education. I have had a
few leadership roles throughout my education including New Tech Ambassadors and National Honors
Society. The most valuable lessons I have learned include that of patience, persistence, and austerity. I
have learned that people need you to continue and press them and continue to help and lead; to be
persistent in your leadership helps those who follow you. Leadership has taught me to have patience.
Though, not to be lax. You must still be persistent. Lastly, to be respected as a leader it is best to be
stern but still approachable. An austere presence helps lead the best teams throughout tough situations.

  • 2. Homeland Security Information Systems Analysis As stated in the first chapter of the textbook, there are numerous ways homeland security goes about informing and warning United States citizens on current or future catastrophes and hazards. One way for people to stay informed on the current risk levels of terrorist attacks is through the Homeland Security Advisory System, now known as the National Terrorism Advisory System. Sadly, the information given to the public on these systems can sometimes be difficult for people to locate. As a result, government agencies have teamed up with cell phone companies to provide an alternative, and more accessible way to keep the public informed of not just current risks of terrorism but also useful news updates. To better elaborate, according to one article, as of 2016 all smart phones now have the capability to give the carrier real time warnings on tornados, hurricanes, flooding in the area, traffic crashes, amber ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Another great quality about this new alert system is that it sends instructions to the reader on how to prepare for unexpected weather conditions or a terrorist attack (Biersdorfer, 2016). Moving on, today another widely used app that can help inform the public is twitter. To better explain, according to one source, people who use twitter can now select the option of getting minute to minute updates sent straight to their phone on information on public emergency s (Biersdorfer, 2016). All the cell phone holder has to do is select an agency, for example, the Department Homeland Security, and the Department will send them the same updated information that would be posted on the National Terrorism Advisory System (Biersdorfer, ... • 3. Workplace Observation Essay In the workplace there are many different aspects of the organization. Some of the aspects or culture of an organization are organizational diversity, dress and language, how communication flows, and organizational policies. Below I will discuss several aspects of the company I work for and define what the different cultures are. How Communication Flows As we know today there are many ways how to communicate. There is email, verbal, Internet, intranet, etc? However, there is only two ways communications flows. There is upward communication defined as ?communication from an employee to supervisor, supervisor to department head, department head to vice president, and so on.? (Abbott 2005) The other flow is downward communication, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... In my organization all the different departments of the company contribute to the Policies manual. The policy is reviewed yearly, and addendums are made. The IT dept which is the department I am in, add to the policy?s about Internet Usage, Email usage, storage sizes of the mailboxes etc.. We clearly state that anything, is done on the company?s computer is subject to monitoring. In many cases mangers advise that they want a specific employee?s Internet monitored, or email monitored. We then report back to the manger that requested it, and they take it up with Human Resources. Our rule is that a county manager has to request it, and has to be good reasoning. Other departments, like the legal counsel talk about arbitration, before going to any courts. The accounting dept talks about fraud, the human resource department talks about attendance, and leave of absences, benefits etc? you get the idea. As you can see this easily answers many question when a new employee comes on board. Dress and Language The Dress code is usually defined in the policy handbook to clearly state what is expected of the employee. There is no standard set, however, in a business environment it?s expected that women and men dress in a formal manner shirts, slacks, ties, etc? In a restaurant they may have a uniform, at the mall it may be that stores clothing in ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 4. Zombie Apocalypse Research Paper Survival of the Adequately Prepared Scientific advances such as genetic engineering have evolved to where almost any specimen imaginable can be created. Therefore, there is nothing standing in the way of someone creating hazardous killing machines, that can infect the humans around them. This means the likelihood of a zombie apocalypse is greater than most people would like to believe. If this horrendous event was to occur it is immensely important to know the precautionary steps. During a zombie apocalypse preparation, protection, and basic necessities are needed in order to survive. Preparation plays one of the most crucial parts in the survival of an apocalypse. First you must make a well structured plan, and organize a group of people that can be trusted. Then assign each person a specific role that is important in the groups survival. The main thing to be considered is the hideout location. Find a place that is away from large cities, such as, the mountains. Zombies prefer areas where there are an abundant amount of people, so it will be safer in dispersed areas. Preparing will insure you have the essential elements to outlast the ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... The appropriate protection gear is vital in this event. The spread of the disease that caused the apocalypse could possibly be airborne. Therefore, respirators will be very essential. They help filter the oxygen received from any airborne diseases, dust, or toxic fumes. Hazmat suits are similar to respirators but they are more advanced. These suits provide protection from extreme temperatures, as well as, chemicals and nuclear agents. Also, it is vital to have weapons to protect yourself during attacks. An individual must consider that the zombies are drawn to loud noises like gunfire. Weapons, such as, bows and arrows or guns with silencers would suit the situation better. These precautions and equipment will keep your body ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 5. Allegory In Peitro Baglioni s Jealousy Poison, a chemical that is destructive or fatal; it can also be an idea or statement. In the case of Nathaniel Hawthorne s three short stories, there is an allegorical poison in each story. The allegory, an abstract idea, in each story is the greedy nature in the friends of Dr. Heidegger in Dr. Heidegger s Experiment , the love that Georgina has for Alymer in The Birthmark , and the jealousy of Peitro Baglioni in Rappaccini s Daughter. In Dr. Heidegger s Experiment , the greedy nature of Dr. Heidegger s friends, Mr. Medbourne, Widow Wycherly, Colonel Killigrew, and Mr. Gascoigne all serve as a poison for themselves. They still display their self seeking, greedy nature although they are given a second chance to change and learn from their past mistakes. • 6. I Was Snow On The Ground And Snowflakes Covering My Window Essay 1 There was snow on the ground and snowflakes covering my window. The trees were left bare and shivering. What was it that had brought me here? For all my life I had lived in California, in the center of urban life, and now I was living on the east coast, near no major city and inside miles of woods. It was my parents ambition that brought us to Pennsylvania. They hoped moving would give us a better life, one where my father would not be away from the family weeks at a time, traveling around the world for business. Despite our hopes, my father s work once again became very stressful and my mother faced racism and prejudice. Workers refused to return her calls because of her accent, while they would promptly respond when my father, with his American accent called. A cafe in town treated customers unequally based upon their origin and wealth. And the first question a new person asked us was where we lived; either we qualified to be friends with them or not. However, my family s history assured us that we could find happiness in our new home. As a child, my grandparents sent my mother from Iran to America to give her a better life. Her relatives were also sent away, causing me to have family all over the globe. I have visited family in Rome, France, Singapore, and all across the US. Seeing them working as biologists, writers, physicist, and artists has shown me that anything is possible and that passion in my work would help me through any hardships. So, I took ... • 9. I Am About Last Night I wake up just enough to roll over. As I do so, the annoying, repetitive sound of my alarm clock fills my ears. I groan and roll myself out of bed. I trudge over to my dresser and turn the alarm off. I don t feel like going to school today, especially since I know that Dad will be calling Mom while I m gone. As I walk to the bathroom, I grab my phone from my desk. I see that I have two new messages and one new email. I read the first message, which is from my mom, telling me that she d be gone this morning. I open the second message, and of course, it s from Damon. Text to Karrison from Damon: Good morning, beautiful. I hope you have an amazing day! I m still very sorry about last night. I know I must have disappointed you, and I feel awful. I promise that I ll make it up to you! Well, I don t know how he would expect that he disappointed me. I m great at hiding my emotions! I wonder how he s going to try to make it up to me. I walk over to the mirror and almost shriek at my appearance. My eyes are crusty, and my long, brown hair is sticking out in all directions. I was painfully reminded of Einstein. I look down at my sink and groan. I look like an Einstein raccoon! I forgot to clean my makeup off before I went to sleep. Looks like I have a bunch of work to do before I leave for school. With excitement, I realize it s Friday and almost jump up and down. Face and hair or outfit first? I should try to do something with my hair first. I wash my face and dry ... There are few topologies (star, bus, loop or mesh) and types of networks (LAN, WAN or MAN) which are to be considered and then need to work on the architecture accordingly. The three sub areas which I have selected for Network Architecture are, Planning of Network Design: A proper planning of a network design will always lead to better results. Planning should be done in such a way that network should always run properly and should be secured 24/7. Strong firewalls and updated components are to be picked for proper planning of network. There should always be a space in network so that we can either expand or add few more components to network which will make network even more big. The Peasants Revolt year 1381 significantly altered literature during the course of the 14th century. The Peasants Revolt was unique in its significance because what is considered modern day England was the only medieval society to have a peasants revolt (Swain). Naturally, such a huge uprising brings influence with it. Besides the Bubonic Plague, another reason for the Peasants Revolt occurred due an expanding middle class, which then in turn took land away from Nobles. This land crisis caused the Nobility to have an upset, and they enacted a law to stop the Peasant Class from having social mobility. Like most societal uprising, money was a huge factor. The choice to adopt or abolish capital punishment is up to each state, and it is the state s verdict to determine if capital punishment is unjust or not. On occasion, the judicial system is found of unlawfully accusing innocent victims to life without parole and have sent them to Death Row. Studies have shown that since 1992, fifteen inmates on Death Row have been set free for being proven innocent. These relationships between different types of data were defined in a database schema, the relational database could be queried with a standard Structured Query Language (SQL). In response to this challenge, teamwork has been implemented in diverse projects in different countries over the last few years, taking a range of forms in theory and practice (Frobel Marchington, 2005). Faced with this growing demand for a workforce with teamwork experience, managers are increasingly interested in the teamwork skills, behaviors and attitudes that new project management graduates bring to the workplace. With the world running out of resources and struggling to sustain the recent boom in world population, governments around the world have been responding by trying to curb population growth with population programmes. Fertility Transition is a process whereby a country changes from a high birth rate to lower birth rate and is measured in terms of number of live births per 1000 women. This process usually occurs when a country is developing. Countries which are undergoing fertility transition in recent years have undergone a much more rapid transformation than when the present day developed economies underwent transition a couple hundred years ago. High fertility is often associated with poverty as there is a lack of education, healthcare and lack of sustainability within a country. The reasons which cause a country to experience fertility transition include; the changing of economy structure or economic growth, investment in education and the provision/subsidisation of contraception. In Trifles, Mr. Wright was found murdered in his bed, so the police arrested his wife. Mrs. Hale and Mrs. Peters, neighbors of the Wrights, went to Mrs. Wright s house to pick up some things for her while she was in jail. Mrs. Hale and Mrs. Peters say that Mrs. Wright used to be lively and social, and used to sing in the choir. However, Mrs. Wright now stays in her home most of the time. The women also say that Mr. Wright was a hard man. He might have made Mrs. Wright give up her friends and her singing. When Mrs. Wright got a canary, Mr. Wright might have strangled it because he did not like its singing. Mrs. Wright might then have murdered Mr. Wright for taking away the one thing she had left. Setting can also be used to develop the theme. The setting in the play was Mrs. Wright s kitchen. The Wrights house was isolated, down in a hollow. The isolation, coupled with not going to town any more, might have felt terrible for Mrs. Wright. In the 1920 s, the woman s place was traditionally in the kitchen, so any clues about Mrs. Wright would be in her kitchen. She had left a mess out in the kitchen: a half wiped table, unwashed pots and pans, a dishtowel lying out, and a misplaced loaf of bread. Mrs. Wright would only have left a mess if she was in a hurry or was interrupted, such as by Mr. Wright coming in and killing the canary. Examples Of Logical Fallacies In The Crucible Logical Fallacies in The Crucible Individuals can connect two varying events to form assumptions that they base solely on the order of events, known as a post hoc ergo propter hoc fallacy. Corey Giles states how his wife reading books certainly ties to his ability to pray: and then she close her book and walks out of the house. And suddenly mark this I could pray again (Miller 40). Miller shows how individuals can place blame on others with very little proof. One must gather multiple reasons to logically make generalizations. In the play, many individuals accuse others based upon abrupt criticisms, leading to confusion and miscommunication of information. Giles Corey explains how others use improbable reasoning for incriminating his wife: he goes to court and claims that from that day to this he cannot keep a pig alive for more than four weeks because my Martha bewitch them with her books (Miller 72).
