Catholic Explanation Of Scripture
The Catholic approach attempts to find the truth by the interpretation and explanation of Scripture
includes three exegetical methodologies which are: reading, interpreting, and understanding.
Specifically, exegesis takes into account a thorough critical analysis of the meaning of biblical
scriptures in terms of their historical and literary context. These methods play a role and contribute to
our understanding of Scripture and this includes: 1) ideological criticism, is the examination of bias,
assumption, or strongly held beliefs which may influence biases; 2) literary criticism, which focuses
on context of the written text including the author, language, time it was written, genre, plot,
characters and symbolism; 3) sociohistorical criticism, explores the conditions of life (i.e. geography,
customs, traditions, religious practices, cultures, social norms, and family life. For example,
ideological and sociohistorical criticism is evidenced in the letter to the Ephesians about morality of
slavery. This letter reflects the time it was written as slavery was accepted and considered to be the
norm in those days. However, the author suggests to the Ephesians that they should be imitators of
God, as beloved children, and live in love, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

believe in the truth that Jesus is the Messiah and the anointed one who will tell us everything . Jesus
goes on to persuade the woman about worshiping God the Father because all people are united by God
s truth. The author s strongly held belief in Jesus as the Messiah is interpreted as the power of
persuasion. That is, Jesus accepts everyone into his kingdom no matter where they are from, who they

Domestic Inequalities in The USA and Denmark Essay
Societies and their governments have developed different policy approaches to addressing domestic
inequality. Compare and contrast two different countries and evaluate the effectiveness of their key
policy measures in addressing inequality.
It is a commonly accepted that inequality is increasing throughout the globe, with startling statistics
such as the recent Oxfam report indicating that the richest 85 people in the world own more wealth
than the poorest 3.5 billion people(Oxfam Australia Media, 2014). Inequality is thought of as
disparities or gaps, such as the distance between a low income and a high income household, or the
ratio of their incomes (Divided We Stand, 2011). Domestic inequality refers to inequality within a

Wealth and assets refer to the stock of an individual or household, inequality if often generated from
inherited wealth. Physical environment affects inequality through access and availability to natural
resources, raw materials and the natural climatic factors that may enhance or disadvantage, leading to
inequality.
Although different societies have varying perceptions of what is an acceptable level of equity, it is
generally accepted that inequality has an impact on key social determinants such as health, wellbeing,
political trust and violence. Wilkinson and Pickett (2009) highlight the social costs of inequality on a
whole range of aspects of our lives. Wilkinson and Pickett (2009) argue that if inequality were
reduced, there would be significant reductions in mental illness, murder rates, imprisonment and an
improvement in social mobility (Wilkinson and Pickett, 2009).

The Effectiveness of the Criminal Justice System in...
The reservation of the Convention on the Rights of a Child (CROC) had played invaluable role in
charging the way in which young offenders are dealt with within the Australia Criminal Process.
Including the introduction of the theory known as Doli Incapax meaning the age of criminal
reasonability, the Young Offender Act 1997 NSW as well new law regarding the rights of a child once
they have been arrested. It is evident that these while some of charges are still ineffective in dealing
with Young Offenders within the Criminal Justice System the majority of them are in place for the
greater good and are assisting young offenders when it relates to the Criminal Justice System.
Doli Incapax is just one of the ways in which children are now treated more equally under the law.
According to the theory it is presumption that children are incapable of having criminal intent which
in terms means that children under the age of 10 are unable to be charge with any criminal offence and
when relating to children 10 to 13 the prosecution make be able to show that the child at the time of
the alleged offence actually know what they were doing was seriously wrong. According to Section 6
of the Children (Criminal Proceedings) Act 1987 children have rights equal to adult offender and have

Examples Of Integrity In Goodnight And Goodluck
After watching the movie Goodnight and Goodluck directed by George Clooney I think the most
important aspect for present day communicators to carry into their work is integrity. I think integrity is
important because it is a value that shows your character and personality. During the movie Murrow
developed his character by consistently being honest with others and himself. Edward Murrow shows
integrity quite often. For example, when McCathy starts making false accusations, Murrow stands up
in front of the camera and defends himself by stating facts to prove his innocence. McCarthy claimed
that Murrow had ties to communism saying that he was on the soviet pay role in 1932 and that he is a

John Paul II Research Paper
John Paul II On May 18, 1920, in a small Polish town just outside of Wadowice, a child was born to
Karol Wojtyla (1879 1941, and Emilia Kaczorosks (1884 1929). His name was Karol Jozef Wojtyla.
Little did his parents know that one day their child was destined not only to become a priest and a
bishop, but the 264th pope of the Roman Catholic Church, and only the second non Italian pope.
Emilia, a schoolteacher, died in childbirth. Wojtyla was nine years old and the youngest of three
children. This was just the beginning of a life of crosses. His oldest sister, Olga, died before he was

Since the 1920s era was run by Republican throughout its entirety, many of the traditionalist ideals

groups like the Ku Klux Klan, which infiltrated political positions in many states. Plus, with the whole
objective of America focusing more on itself and as a result of war, America decided to start closing
its borders. After World War 1, the people of America went through a period of Red Scare where

the monkey trial. As noted in the article, Change and Reaction in the 1920s , many states enacted a
law that did not allow schools to teach evolution because that went against the bible, on of those states

Compare And Contrast Zeus And Taurus
In my humble opinion, all of the constellations are beautiful. But none of the constellations attract me

Gemini constellation, but truth be told, Gemini is my favorite because i m a Gemini! The Gemini

Latin. Without a telescope, it is made up of 85 visible stars. The bordering constellations are Lynx,
Auriga, Taurus, Orion, Monoceros, Canis Minor, and Cancer. The myth that belongs to the Gemini
constellation goes a little something like this. There once were two twin brothers named Castor and
Pollux, together known as Dioskouri. Their mother s name was Leda, but there were two fathers.
Castor s dad was Tyndareus, the king of Sparta, and Pollux s dad was Zeus, father of God s and men.

Literary Criticism In To Kill A Mockingbird By Harper Lee
Literary Criticism is an informed, written analysis and evolution of a work of literature based on a
literary theory. An Archetypal Criticism is a type of a literary theory that interprets the text using
symbols, motifs, myths, characters, and situations. Harper Lee s To Kill a Mockingbird reflects
archetypal criticism in order to have a better understanding of the forms of the literary works and to
approach the text in a different way. This criticism shows how the recurring of the characters helps to
develop the story. Harper Lee utilizes hero, child, and mentor archetypes in order to enhance the
meaning of the story and each character. Within To Kill a Mockingbird, the hero archetype reflects
upon Arthur Radley, Atticus, and Scout. For instance, as Scout is lying on the ground during the
attack, it occurs to her that there were now four people under the tree... He was carrying Jem (Lee 301
302). Boo Radley, also known as Arthur Radley, sacrifices himself to save Scout and Jem from getting
killed. Boo illustrates the characteristics of the hero archetype when he throws his body into the mess
even though it was dangerous to save the children. Despite the chances of getting revealed in public
for killing Bob Ewell, nothing stopped Arthur from saving Jem and Scout, because he regarded them
as his own children. An additional example is that after Tom Robinson s trial, Scout is interrupted
from her sleep only to find this: I looked around. They were standing. All around us and in the balcony
on the opposite wall, the Negroes were getting to their feet (Lee 241). This tragedy all starts when
Judge Taylor appoints Atticus for this case, but the real reason why Atticus takes this case is that he
values the truth and his conscience. Even though Atticus foresees white people mock and gossip about
him, he sacrifices himself to try his best to aid Tom Robinson because Atticus knows that he is
innocent. This is why people up in the balcony all stood up after the trial to show respect to Atticus,
who tried his hardest to prove Tom Robinson s innocence. Furthermore, as Scout talks to Mr.
Cunningham about things he cares about, especially his son, he states, I ll tell him you said hey, little
lady, he said. Then he

What Part Of The Environment Has The Highest Temperature...
Question:What part of the environment is going to have the highest temperature if we heat them up
with a heat lamp?
Research:Out of our environment the chunk of coal is the most absorbent which causes the chunk of
coal to be the warmest out of our environment. The hottest temperature ever recorded was in death
valley and it was a whopping 134 degrees fahrenheit and death valley has a lot of hard solid rock
which adds to the rock is very absorbent and gets hot very easily. Also it s at a low elevation and sparse
vegetation and the main reason it gets hot is because of the rocks and dirt.In our environment the
greenhouse is being created because the light is reflecting off the coal rock which gets trapped inside
which provides heat. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

If possible, wet the end first to cool it off. When you put the cigarette into the ashtray, make sure that
it is completely in and stable so it won t fall out and onto something that could catch on fire.
Don t overload outlets. If you can, unplug anything that you re not using to help clear some outlet
space. If you do have to have electronics plugged in, distribute them instead of putting them all into
one outlet.
Expert Insight * Run out of the house immediately if there is a fire. Don t run around trying to grab
valuables or other items, and absolutely don t run back in to get anything. Get to your neighbors house
to call 911.
Have multiple escape routes out of your home. If you don t plan one and there is an emergency, you
may get disoriented on where you should go. Having multiple plans set up could help you to get out
alive.
Stop, drop and roll if your clothes catch on fire. Running will only make the situation worse.
Misconceptions
* Many people think that a fire won t ever happen to them, especially in their own homes, but there is
always that chance even if you don t want to acknowledge it. Instead of being in doubt that it will ever
happen, you re better off taking precautions just in case. If a fire were to happen, it s better to be
prepared instead of being caught off guard

Achieving economic well being

meetings with the child s parents every now and then so the parent is able to see how the child is doing
with there intellectual development. Bii)
The importance of designing a service that responds to the needs of the children and young people.
The principle of designing services around children and young people is to be able to meet all their
needs. Every child is unique , it is important that all practitioners understand this. Firstly you need to
establish what their care needs are so you are able to meet them in the correct way. This can be done
by communicating with parents and other services connected with the child. If the service is meeting
the individuals needs the parents/ careers should have no reason to be unhappy with the service
provided and the child should remain in the setting. The children must be encouraged to meet their full
potential. The 5 outcomes of the Every Child Matters provides a requirement for settings to aim high

Alarms were developed and added to the mixers that will alert operations when a mixer did not get all
of its chemicals. This alarm has helped us detect failing valves. Additionally, the OH model was
modified so that turbo temperatures are reduced when a turbo reaches OH set point. This has
prevented small production upsets from getting worse due to over hydrolyzed dope.
Solus Free Acid Root Cause Determination Worked on a team to determine why Solus had elevated
levels of free acid after only a short time in storage. It was determined that the root cause is inherent to
low viscosity esters and is not something that can be changed with different stabilization or new bags.

The Alamo Paragraph
The Alamo
As Texans began firing at the enemy, deadly shrapnel cut through the columns of advancing Mexican
soldiers and killed and injured many. (Bredson 10). The Alamo was a deadly battle in the 1830s over
the independence of Texas from Mexico.
The Alamo was a battle between the Mexicans, and the Texans. The battle was fought over things such
as slavery and to break independence. (The Alamo, Why Did It Happen? Paragraph 2). The battle
started on February 23, 1836 to March 6, 1836. The Texans wanted independence from the Mexicans,
which caused a war. Many people, over 1600 died, and only a few survived, including Susannah
Dickinson and her infant (The Alamo. Paragraph 2).
Towards the end, Santa Anna, a general, was captured. Anna agreed to recognize Texan independence
and told his Mexican forces to leave the state (The Alamo, Why Did It Happen? Paragraph 4). Most of
the Texans were colonizers. They were looking for wealth, and were happy to take the acres of land
the Mexicans were giving (The Alamo, Why Did It Happen? Paragraph 1). On February 23, one
hundred fifty men waited outside of the Alamo. Only a few who approached the Mexicans were
Texans (Ramsdell 30). Many of the Texan soldiers were in a roofless church, also including the
famous Davy Crockett, when Mexican soldiers had busted in the doors (Bredson 11). ... Show more

Examples Of Memory In Gurdjieff
Further, he warns that it is a long and arduous struggle. There is no short cut as regards efforts or as
regards shortening of time. One has to go through the grind, through the disciple, through the work .
Self remembering of Gurdjieff
As already mentioned, Self remembering of Gurdjieff is what we have been talking about in the thesis
as Awareness. According to him, Self remembering (or self observation), is an artificial division of
attention within oneself. A part of consciousness is weaned back, which is nothing but adopting the
witnessing aspect. One part of our consciousness is engaged in the activity, physical or mental, while
another part is watching this part thus functioning. Whenever our consciousness identifies itself ...

Gurdjieff brings about beautifully the distinction between Knowledge and Being. While we are
developing on the knowledge front, we are acutely lagging behind on the Being front. Progress along
the line of being entailed our struggling with our weaknesses the chief weakness being the weakness
of waking sleep .
Man s development should move equally parallel along the lines of knowledge and Being.
Unfortunately, it is knowledge which is overemphasized at the cost of being (his essence; all that a
man stood for). Man s knowledge depended upon his being. Man s being is different from that of the
stone, plant and animal. But even among human beings, there are great distances between beings of
human beings, one from the other.
Knowledge and Understanding:
Gurdjieff differentiated between knowledge and understanding in that knowledge was fragmentary,
while understanding was unifying. Understanding was the outcome of a certain relationship between
knowledge and being. Understanding happens when one realizes the relationship between knowledge
and being. That is to say with understanding man gravitates towards his Being. Understanding thus is

Nature Vs Nurture And Nurture
Some believe that morality is an evolutionary anomaly, while some believe that morality is formed by
the environment around you. Since the beginning of time, psychologists have argued over whether
morality is formed and cultivated through nature or nurture. This psychological anomaly is why I am
writing this paper. Ever since I have enrolled in, and taken, a psychology class during my junior year, I
have questioned whether every little emotion and action is because of nature or nurture. No topic is
more widely explored and researched than morality. It cannot be scientifically or psychologically
proven or tested, making any claim highly controversial. This idea, of nature vs nurture, that I had

after class. As terrifying as it seemed, I quickly realized that I had nothing to worry about. To my
relief, he said he would be very willing to do an interview regarding my essay topic. I then let out a
mental sigh of relief. As I walked into his office to talk to him, I instantly became nervous. Thoughts
rushed through my head: What Do I Say? , Do I Record This? , What Do I Ask? . I eventually walked
in, sat in the chair, and everything seemed to fly by. He also wasn t scary at all, surprisingly. I trusted
his viewpoint and opinion upon the subject because of his vast knowledge and experience within the
field. His comments and statements had helped with my assurance upon the topic. He had stated that
there s a major theory for morality which comes from Kolberg. In this theory he talks about how a
person s morality changes as we get older. When were younger it s all about what s right and wrong
and focused on the rewards and punishments. When we are teenagers, it s all about social status and
what makes us look the best in front of our friends, or even what the social rules are. When we
become older, our morality is based upon the world around us (Whetten, J.).

Design of Multi-Agent Systems
Design of MAS In multi agent systems, there are four basic elements that collaborate to build the
design of the system. The first element is agents, which composes of group of autonomous agents that
are considered the first and main part of the internal structure of the MAS design (Manzoni, 2009).
Those agents are different in their numbers, method of response, smartness, dealing with problems,
and internal architecture in general. Since agents are necessary to interact and cooperate with each
other to find a solution for common tasks or uncommon tasks as well, by communicating via special
messages that can arrive at any time. Hence, every one of these agents must be based on particular
information in regarding of its actions and making decisions (Wooldrige, 2009).
Communication and interaction is the second element of the MAS design, which is considered the
central estate of any distributed system. However, the interaction only happens when two or more
agents share the same interest in regard to solving a problem. More than that, it is significantly
important in the system because of the difference between agents (Wooldrige, 2009). Agents that are
in the same system interact in three different ways: direct interaction (messages passing), through an
intermediary agent, or through their environment. In more detail, they could be directly communicated
by sending messages when they understand each other s language. This means speaking the same
language and using the same

Then another Council member would second the movement if they agreed. Following the movement
being seconded a vote would follow to confirm if the movement was confirmed or denied.
Several local business owners stood up throughout the meeting asking for variances in local laws for
construction on their buildings. One requested to not be required to add parking spaces despite the fact
that he was adding square footage to his restaurant. The Dahlonega City laws determine the number of
required parking spaces for a business by square footage. However what the business owner was
adding, an indoor stairway and a landing for the hostess to greet in, would not affect the number of
people that could be seated in the building. The council ultimately said that he could only put in half
the number of required spots. Another business owner stood and requested a similar variance in the
law but was adding office space to the rear of their building instead of a stairway and landing. Again
he wanted to not have to provide extra parking for the space since it was not going to be used
commercially, but because he mentioned a function that was not stated on the original business plan,
the request was tabled.
Following the portion of the meeting where the public could bring things to the table, the Council
continued with its agenda. Multiple departments came and gave reports on what they were doing and

The Model T Revolutionized The Automotive Industry
When Henry Ford began making cars, he felt that the automotive was destined to make the horse and
carriage disappear. However, to make that happen first he needed to produce a car that was affordable
by everyone. In 1908, he achieved that with the production of the Model T. The Model T
revolutionized the automotive industry. The Model T was the first affordable car for the masses. Its
affordability came from several properties. First, the Model T featured all interchangeable parts. Parts
in one Model T were exactly the same as the parts in another model T made in the same year. Second,
the Model T was the first car to contain vanadium steel parts, which were stronger, more dependable
and lighter weight than previous steel pieces and they could be manufactured easier. Third, the Ford
Company was the first company to employ a moving assembly line which allowed them to assemble
the cars faster than anyone else.
In the early 1900s, the automotive industry was a burgeoning business with many competitors trying
to out do each other. Companies rose and fell on a regular basis. By 1903, 214 different companies
had arisen in America to manufacture the automobile. However, by 1904, at least 84 of those had
either ceased to exist or changed to a different line of work. (Ford, 234) When he joined the ranks of
manufacturers in 1903, Henry Ford was determined to make his company work. When the Ford Motor

Clockwork Orange Punishment
Nietzsche s Good and Evil Taken to the Extreme in the Chaotic Society of A Clockwork Orange.
When it comes to a prime example of questioning morality in Kubrick s films A Clockwork Orange is
a go to case study of free will and the morality of judgement and punishment. The film is an analysis
of humanity and explores topics such as aversion therapy which is not just a dystopian fantasy but
exists in the real world. It analyses punishment and examines the justice system both with portraying
the classic punishment method like the prison and the rehabilitation method.
Gehkre states that:
The clockwork metaphor has long been a tradition of western sciences, both physical and social.

With the help of Alex s perspective, the film also criticises the choices society makes. Going back to
Nietzsche s views on morality, it is worth noting that he condemns the Judeo Christian morality as too
strict and unhealthy. However, using that philosophy A Clockwork Orange again shows the opposite
as the society and law system s ethics are very much radical and they believe that the only way they
could eradicate the crime and chaos in society is to take people s right of choice. In their criminology
analysis of A Clockwork Orange Lichtenberg, Lune and McManimon (2004) sum up the main issue
concerned in the film with the statemen confirmed by the prison chaplain that: If there is no choice,
there is no morality. Therefore, Kubrick s film focuses on some important questions and problems that
are shown as issues of a dystopian society but are also truly problems present in contemporary society
as well such as: could the spectator blame the establishment for being cruel and immoral if they are
trying their hardest to eradicate relentless crime or is taking someone s free will and right to choose an
inhuman thing to do overall? The title of the film ties in with Alex s journey and character
development as he is transformed and programmed as a machine not able to

Genetic Disorders Should Not Be Allowed To Have Children...
So, even if you didn t recognize the disease as genetic, you ve certainly run into someone with a far
reaching genetic disorder. A disorder that left them borderline unable to function, perhaps a disorder
that left their ability to think or remember things severely limited, a disorder that hindered them in all
aspects of their lives, or even a disorder that lead to such frailty, that they could die within the next ten
years. Everyone has seen someone like this, whether family or not, now should they be able to have a
chance to spread their disorder further, through having children? Using common sense, and various
government websites detailing the multitude of genetic disorders and how easily and randomly they
can be inherited, anyone can come to the quick conclusion that they shouldn t be able to. Now, this
view that people with debilitating genetic disorders shouldn t be able to reproduce comes not out of a
place of hatred, but truly and honestly out of sympathy. People with such awful disorders shouldn t be
allowed to have children. Now, if someone were to examine the research, ... Show more content on

It just makes sense, if no one with life threatening genetic disorders had children, then we would stop
seeing most of these genetic disorders appear. No more would be the sorry sights of the horribly
impaired, and no longer would you be forced to learn of the deaths of young infants from such ruthless
disorders. Now, some might say that this is highly immoral, they might ask who has the right to tell
someone that they are or aren t allowed to have children. However, isn t letting someone, old or
young, suffer and die a painful death, or letting someone ignorantly glide through life without any
ounce of understanding of what they are even doing, even more morally bankrupt? It s only common

Tomi Cade Bambara The Lesson
Puppy by George Saunders and The Lesson by Tomi Cade Bambara are both stories that show the
ugly side of poverty. In Puppy the main character Marie and her kids are well off because of Marie s
husband. However, the other family in the story which include Callie and also Callie s husband and
her kids live in poverty. Marie goes to Callie s house to check out a puppy her kids are interested in.
When Marie gets there due to the class differences Marie cannot understand why Callie does things
the way she does and also why her house is the way it is. Furthermore, because Callie is living in
poverty Marie looks at her as less of a person. In The Lesson is narrated by a girl named Sylvia who
has an impoverished up brining in Harlem. In this ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The negative effects can be seen in that competition for jobs in American society is so competitive that
author John Michael Roberts asserts that people, Work for free (28). While Americans tend to believe
that competition brings out the best in people, the Marxist theory states that it actually brings out the
worst in people such as greed, selfishness, and unethical actions. This can be seen by how the
characters of The Lesson and Callie s family are living in extreme poverty despite being in the richest
nations in the world. Danzinger and Danzinger assert, The child poverty rate in the US is high in
relation to the rate in other industrialized countries (57). This high poverty rate can be seen in The
Lesson and it shows how competition can leave some people at the bottom even in New York, one of
the richest states in the United States. Miss Moore sees that it is unjust for kids to be living in such
poverty and says, Imagine for a minute what kind of society it is in which some people spend on a toy
what it would cost to feed a family of six or seven ( The Lesson , Bambara 151). While some people
get rich off competing, some get left behind and many times the ones that do get ahead had to do
something unethical. Sylvia notices all of the unethical practices it takes to get ahead in a competitive
society and as a result, when Miss Moore gives Sylvia money

Science Fiction, Melodrama and Western Intersect in David Lynch s Dune
A genre is a grouping of works, in this context a grouping of films, that are somehow similar or related
in content or style. Genres are not strictly uniform over a period of time and do allow for growth and
adaptation of their definitive characteristics. As the film industry has developed through the past
century, various genres of films have emerged and are still evolving. Aspects of genres have been
redefined and intermingled through the history of film. There have also been, throughout the
progression of filmmaking, films which do not strictly fall into one genre or which combine elements
of several genres. David Lynch s 1984 film Dune is a fascinating case ... Show more content on

Melodrama, as a film genre, is deeply rooted in the institution of the family and various incarnations
and evolved states of the family unit. Familial issues arise more often in science fiction than has been
widely acknowledged. The futuristic universe of Dune and all of the action of the film is motivated by
inter and intra familial conflicts and resolutions. Science fiction, at times, appears to be merely a
scientific or futuristic setting for the same kind of melodrama film that has been made for years.
However, according to Westfahl, science fiction reconstructed melodrama in a manner which
complicated and undermined its traditional clarity (193). Thus whereas in a melodrama such as The
Cobweb, the initial conflict of the narrative is merely left unresolved (but on an optimistic beat), in the
science fiction melodrama, the film is ended with a hopelessly compromised happy ending (Westfahl,
203). Such is the case with Dune: as the film closes, rain pours down on the desert planet. The rain is
meant to represent a positive miracle and something that is desirable, but the fact that rain would turn
the desert sand to mud, potentially drowning and killing the giant worms and thus ending all spice
production is ignored. The ending leaves the film on a happy note, but the ending has not resolved the
film: it had added more conflict to be resolved. Dune is

Avoid Being Facebook
Avoid Being Flagged As Low Quality and Use New Features To Your Advantage (Facebook Updates)
If you didn t know already, Facebook is one of the platforms that constantly updates and changes their
newsfeed algorithm to improve what posts visitors are served in their newsfeed. Over the years, these
tweaks seem to lean more and more towards getting businesses to pay to reach a higher percentage of
their page fans but oftentimes can be combatted, at least to a certain degree, by switching up your
Facebook strategy. Here are two of the changes that have been made recently: 1. Reducing links to
low quality web page experiences This is another version of many other algorithm updates Facebook
has made to reduce the number of click bait type ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Also keep in mind that as you accumulate bad points for these individual links, Facebook counts them
against the entire domain so, for example, if Facebook flags www.yourdomain.com/my newest artcile
as a low quality link, it will begin to consider all links that start with www.yourdomain.com as low
quality links, no matter what comes after the slash (/). B. Pop up ads or lightboxes It wasn t that long
ago pop ups were the bane of our online existence. Later, sites began to implement ads in lightboxes
or modals a kind of pop up that doesn t open in the web page via a script or other types of
programming so that they couldn t be blocked by pop up blockers until ultimately sites started to
figure out that visitors hate any kind of ad that keeps them from viewing what they came to the site to
view. But they haven t gone away completely; most sites have just modified their use to only make
asks related to the site or brand itself, such as signing up for a newsletter, following them on social
media, or just sharing the article, which can be a great list or follower builder. Unfortunately,
Facebook makes no differentiation between these new uses and the pop up windows of old. If you
have any kind call to action (CTA), regardless of whether it opens a secondary tab/window or if it is a
lightbox that opens within your web page, Facebook will flag the page as a low quality experience
because you are serving up an ad instead of taking the user immediately to view

Also, one of the most problematic aspects of the technology is to initially synchronize the transmitter
and receiver. Although most issues can be worked through, a significant amount of time must be
initially allotted to learning this process.
* Why is it important?
ANS: Using FHSS technology improves privacy, it is a powerful solution to avoid interference and
multi path fading (distortion), it decreases narrowband interference, increases signal capacity, improve
the signal to noise ratio, efficiency of bandwidth is high and difficult to intercept also this transmission
can share a frequency band with many types of conventional transmissions with minimal interference.
Direct Sequence Spread Spectrum (DSSS)
Guidelines
* What is it?
ANS: Direct sequence spread spectrum (DSSS) is a transmission technology used in local area
wireless network transmissions. In this technology, a data signal at the sending station is combined
with a high data rate bit sequence, which divides user data based on a spreading ratio.
* How does it work?
ANS: The entire process is performed by multiplying a radio frequency carrier and a pseudo noise
(PN) digital signal. The PN code is modulated onto an information signal using several modulation
techniques such as quadrature phase shift keying (QPSK), binary phase shift keying (BPSK), etc. A
doubly balanced mixer then multiplies the PN modulated

Snake Island Manipulation
Manipulation is the crux of fiction; the Strange Tales from a Chinese Studio are no different. The
manipulation in Strange Tales from a Chinese Studio, specifically in the stories of Rouge and Snake
Island, occurs as characters manipulate each other. This manipulation follows societal classes, as those
othered by society manipulate the virtuous and elite, thus setting up a societal struggle defined by
manipulation. The marginalized and elite form classes of people, thus making this societal struggle
synonymous with a class struggle. Furthermore, through literary devices, including sentence syntax
and alliteration, the tales of Rouge and Snake Island celebrate Zhang, Prefect Wu, and Commissioner
Shi who either overcome the manipulation ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
When initially describing Big Mao, Pu says that Big Mao is disreputable character who had already
made several fruitless attempts to seduce Madame Wang, and a an unscrupulous rogue, the worst kind
of street thug, both of which directly assert that Big Mao is flawed character (411, 418). In addition to
the direct descriptor that proves he is disreputable, the author uses an alliteration and lengthens the
sentence to emphasize Big Mao s flaws. First, when initially describing him, the author says there
lived in the district a disreputable character, which alliterates d to emphasize Big Mao s reputation
(411). Also, in the same sentence, Pu Songling introduces Big Mao by first describing where Big Mao
lived and his nature and then awkwardly adding that he goes by the name of Big Mao. (411) This
strange sentence syntax stresses the importance of Big Mao s nature which when coupled with the
alliteration prove that Big Mao, the other man who manipulates Rouge, is not virtuous; because Big
Mao lacks virtue, he is flawed character, and thus he differs from the societal norms and, when
compared to Rouge, a member of the lower class. Since, Rouge symbolizes the upper class and
conflicts with Big Mao and Su, who represent the lower class, Rouge also presents a class

Understanding The Predominant Program Models For Early...
There is an accumulation of similarities and contrast within each discussion category. The idea of how
they relate in terms of theory becomes a highly complex analysis because the threads for all three
programs are virtually the same and shaped heavily by the social sciences. Aside from the tangles of
likeness and crossovers in theory, modes of operation and arrangement, the historical aspect addresses
the pathway leading to each models final take on how relationship are a necessity in educating young
children. In regards to the history of early childhood education, there is a high level of connectedness
between care and education. (Canella, )
In order to understand the predominant program models for early childhood education let the
consensus for model be described as a curriculum based approach or a curriculum. What does
curriculum mean? For the sake of identifying quality, curriculum is a key component for building
sustainable early childhood education programs. Curriculum encompasses ideas and materials
transferred to a student to develop knowledge and skills as framed by identified expectations. The
NAEYC s definition states . . . in general curriculum is seen as the means by which a society helps
learners acquire the knowledge, skills, and values that that society deems most worth having. ( ,2015)
The frameworks of Developmental Interactional Approach, Direct Instructional Model, and Reggio
Emilia Approach are approaches observed in early childhood

Essay on Linking Eating Disorders With Genetics
While Bulimia is known by many names, the term bulimia did not enter the English language until the
1970s, perhaps representing lingering uncertainty about its essence (Gordon, 2000). Bulimia, as we
know it, is a modern disease, however, there is some evidence of binging and purging in ancient times;
for example, in ancient Egypt, physicians would recommend periodical purgation as a health practice
(Gordon, 2000). There has also been documentation of wealthy families in the middle ages vomiting
during meals in order to continue eating large amounts of food. At this point, you may be wondering
why these examples are not considered Bulimia Nervosa. According to Dr. Richard Allan Gordon,
author of Eating Disorders: Anatomy of a Social ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
It is now defined as Recurring episodes of eating significantly more food in a short period of time than
most people would eat under similar circumstances, with episodes marked by feelings of lack of
control.... The person may have feelings of guilt, embarrassment, or disgust and may binge eat alone
to hide the behavior . It is important to note that there is a difference between over eating and binge
eating, while over eating is a recognizable problem for many people, binge eating is much less
common, far more severe, and associated with significant physiological and psychological problems
(DSM 5). Binge Eating Disorder is similar to Bulimia Nervosa in that we see episodes of eating large
amounts of food, the difference being that there is no purging after the binging episode. It is seen
highly among obese patients, but, perhaps due to a reluctance to relate obesity with an eating disorder,
it was not recognized as distinct from Bulimia Nervosa until the early 1990s (Gordon, 2000). Some of
the first documented cases of Anorexia Nervosa were religious in origin. As early as the 12th century
we saw women, particularly in Western Christianity, known as Miracle Maidens who were highly
esteemed for their self control, their holy anorexia was thought of as a gift from God. Some scholars
have stated the intense relationship

Jane Campion s The Piano
Jane Campion s The Piano A Metaphor for European Domination
The exact nature of the encounters between Captain James Cook and the Polynesian natives of Hawaii
as well as all interactions and exchanges between Europeans and native Polynesian peoples of the
Pacific while Cook was exploring the islands of Hawaii and after has been investigated by
anthropologists and historians for many years. Captain Cook died at the hand of Polynesian natives
while he was at Hawaii in 1779. Marshall Sahlins stated that Cook was seen as the god Lono during
the celebration of the Makahiki festival taking place at the time of Cook s visit. Gananath

Director Jane Campion places a motif throughout her film The Piano that is preoccupied by power
struggles between males and females and European colonists and indigenous people. The Prospero
syndrome is seen in attitudes of the Europeans regarding their belief that European culture, ideology,
and religious practices are the only standards of behavior deemed acceptable for human beings,
women in particular. The piano then becomes a symbol for the taboos that are placed on the Europeans
and their lives. The character of Ada is placed at the center of a struggle between a male character who
fully embodies the Kurtz persona with tattoos, close friendships with the Maori, and uninhibited
sexual overtures, and one who clings to English ways. Harvey Keitel portrays this character, named
Baines, while Sam Neill plays his foil. The character of Stewart embodies the Prospero persona by
maintaining an ever present businesslike relationship with the Maori and punishing those who
transgress his code of conduct. The punishment of Flora, Ada s daughter for misbehaving and
simulating her mother s sexual behavior and of Ada herself for loving Baines while conducting and
affair at he same time with Stewart himself places a black mark

The Importance Of Negative Thoughts
Have you ever wondered if someone s emotions affects their success? A person s thoughts or emotions
affect their failure or success significantly. Negative thoughts are very powerful and have a tendency
to overshadow the positive thoughts that a person has.If we do something good then something bad
happens our brain will focus on the negative thing that happened and not care about the positive
thing.people can t go back to the positive thought after a negative thought comes to mind.If you
always look for a positive then there will always a negative that come up.But if you look at the
negative there will always be a positive but the positive might make is situation worse. Our view of
the world tends to tilt towards the negative (Ledgerwood).Losing helps prevent making the same

  • 17. Literary Criticism In To Kill A Mockingbird By Harper Lee Literary Criticism is an informed, written analysis and evolution of a work of literature based on a literary theory. An Archetypal Criticism is a type of a literary theory that interprets the text using symbols, motifs, myths, characters, and situations. Harper Lee s To Kill a Mockingbird reflects archetypal criticism in order to have a better understanding of the forms of the literary works and to approach the text in a different way. This criticism shows how the recurring of the characters helps to develop the story. Harper Lee utilizes hero, child, and mentor archetypes in order to enhance the meaning of the story and each character. Within To Kill a Mockingbird, the hero archetype reflects upon Arthur Radley, Atticus, and Scout. For instance, as Scout is lying on the ground during the attack, it occurs to her that there were now four people under the tree... He was carrying Jem (Lee 301 302). Boo Radley, also known as Arthur Radley, sacrifices himself to save Scout and Jem from getting killed. Boo illustrates the characteristics of the hero archetype when he throws his body into the mess even though it was dangerous to save the children. Despite the chances of getting revealed in public for killing Bob Ewell, nothing stopped Arthur from saving Jem and Scout, because he regarded them as his own children. An additional example is that after Tom Robinson s trial, Scout is interrupted from her sleep only to find this: I looked around. They were standing. All around us and in the balcony on the opposite wall, the Negroes were getting to their feet (Lee 241). This tragedy all starts when Judge Taylor appoints Atticus for this case, but the real reason why Atticus takes this case is that he values the truth and his conscience. Even though Atticus foresees white people mock and gossip about him, he sacrifices himself to try his best to aid Tom Robinson because Atticus knows that he is innocent. This is why people up in the balcony all stood up after the trial to show respect to Atticus, who tried his hardest to prove Tom Robinson s innocence. Furthermore, as Scout talks to Mr. Cunningham about things he cares about, especially his son, he states, I ll tell him you said hey, little lady, he said. Then he ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 33. Design of Multi-Agent Systems Design of MAS In multi agent systems, there are four basic elements that collaborate to build the design of the system. The first element is agents, which composes of group of autonomous agents that are considered the first and main part of the internal structure of the MAS design (Manzoni, 2009). Those agents are different in their numbers, method of response, smartness, dealing with problems, and internal architecture in general. Since agents are necessary to interact and cooperate with each other to find a solution for common tasks or uncommon tasks as well, by communicating via special messages that can arrive at any time. Hence, every one of these agents must be based on particular information in regarding of its actions and making decisions (Wooldrige, 2009). Communication and interaction is the second element of the MAS design, which is considered the central estate of any distributed system. However, the interaction only happens when two or more agents share the same interest in regard to solving a problem. More than that, it is significantly important in the system because of the difference between agents (Wooldrige, 2009). Agents that are in the same system interact in three different ways: direct interaction (messages passing), through an intermediary agent, or through their environment. In more detail, they could be directly communicated by sending messages when they understand each other s language. This means speaking the same language and using the same ... However, to make that happen first he needed to produce a car that was affordable by everyone. In 1908, he achieved that with the production of the Model T. The Model T revolutionized the automotive industry. The Model T was the first affordable car for the masses. Its affordability came from several properties. First, the Model T featured all interchangeable parts. Parts in one Model T were exactly the same as the parts in another model T made in the same year. Second, the Model T was the first car to contain vanadium steel parts, which were stronger, more dependable and lighter weight than previous steel pieces and they could be manufactured easier. Third, the Ford Company was the first company to employ a moving assembly line which allowed them to assemble the cars faster than anyone else. In the early 1900s, the automotive industry was a burgeoning business with many competitors trying to out do each other. Companies rose and fell on a regular basis. The film is an analysis of humanity and explores topics such as aversion therapy which is not just a dystopian fantasy but exists in the real world. Going back to Nietzsche s views on morality, it is worth noting that he condemns the Judeo Christian morality as too strict and unhealthy. In their criminology analysis of A Clockwork Orange Lichtenberg, Lune and McManimon (2004) sum up the main issue concerned in the film with the statemen confirmed by the prison chaplain that: If there is no choice, there is no morality. Therefore, Kubrick s film focuses on some important questions and problems that are shown as issues of a dystopian society but are also truly problems present in contemporary society as well such as: could the spectator blame the establishment for being cruel and immoral if they are trying their hardest to eradicate relentless crime or is taking someone s free will and right to choose an inhuman thing to do overall? A disorder that left them borderline unable to function, perhaps a disorder that left their ability to think or remember things severely limited, a disorder that hindered them in all aspects of their lives, or even a disorder that lead to such frailty, that they could die within the next ten years. Everyone has seen someone like this, whether family or not, now should they be able to have a chance to spread their disorder further, through having children? Using common sense, and various government websites detailing the multitude of genetic disorders and how easily and randomly they can be inherited, anyone can come to the quick conclusion that they shouldn t be able to. Now, this view that people with debilitating genetic disorders shouldn t be able to reproduce comes not out of a place of hatred, but truly and honestly out of sympathy. People with such awful disorders shouldn t be allowed to have children. Now, if someone were to examine the research, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... It just makes sense, if no one with life threatening genetic disorders had children, then we would stop seeing most of these genetic disorders appear. No more would be the sorry sights of the horribly impaired, and no longer would you be forced to learn of the deaths of young infants from such ruthless disorders. Now, some might say that this is highly immoral, they might ask who has the right to tell someone that they are or aren t allowed to have children. However, isn t letting someone, old or young, suffer and die a painful death, or letting someone ignorantly glide through life without any ounce of understanding of what they are even doing, even more morally bankrupt? The negative effects can be seen in that competition for jobs in American society is so competitive that author John Michael Roberts asserts that people, Work for free (28). While Americans tend to believe that competition brings out the best in people, the Marxist theory states that it actually brings out the worst in people such as greed, selfishness, and unethical actions. This can be seen by how the characters of The Lesson and Callie s family are living in extreme poverty despite being in the richest nations in the world. Danzinger and Danzinger assert, The child poverty rate in the US is high in relation to the rate in other industrialized countries (57). This high poverty rate can be seen in The Lesson and it shows how competition can leave some people at the bottom even in New York, one of the richest states in the United States. Miss Moore sees that it is unjust for kids to be living in such poverty and says, Imagine for a minute what kind of society it is in which some people spend on a toy what it would cost to feed a family of six or seven ( The Lesson , Bambara 151). While some people get rich off competing, some get left behind and many times the ones that do get ahead had to do something unethical. • 41. Science Fiction, Melodrama and Western Intersect in David... Science Fiction, Melodrama and Western Intersect in David Lynch s Dune A genre is a grouping of works, in this context a grouping of films, that are somehow similar or related in content or style. Genres are not strictly uniform over a period of time and do allow for growth and adaptation of their definitive characteristics. As the film industry has developed through the past century, various genres of films have emerged and are still evolving. Aspects of genres have been redefined and intermingled through the history of film. There have also been, throughout the progression of filmmaking, films which do not strictly fall into one genre or which combine elements of several genres. David Lynch s 1984 film Dune is a fascinating case ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Melodrama, as a film genre, is deeply rooted in the institution of the family and various incarnations and evolved states of the family unit. Familial issues arise more often in science fiction than has been widely acknowledged. The futuristic universe of Dune and all of the action of the film is motivated by inter and intra familial conflicts and resolutions. Science fiction, at times, appears to be merely a scientific or futuristic setting for the same kind of melodrama film that has been made for years. However, according to Westfahl, science fiction reconstructed melodrama in a manner which complicated and undermined its traditional clarity (193). Thus whereas in a melodrama such as The Cobweb, the initial conflict of the narrative is merely left unresolved (but on an optimistic beat), in the science fiction melodrama, the film is ended with a hopelessly compromised happy ending (Westfahl, 203). Such is the case with Dune: as the film closes, rain pours down on the desert planet. The rain is meant to represent a positive miracle and something that is desirable, but the fact that rain would turn the desert sand to mud, potentially drowning and killing the giant worms and thus ending all spice production is ignored. The ending leaves the film on a happy note, but the ending has not resolved the film: it had added more conflict to be resolved. Dune is ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Avoid Being Facebook Avoid Being Flagged As Low Quality and Use New Features To Your Advantage (Facebook Updates) If you didn t know already, Facebook is one of the platforms that constantly updates and changes their newsfeed algorithm to improve what posts visitors are served in their newsfeed. Over the years, these tweaks seem to lean more and more towards getting businesses to pay to reach a higher percentage of their page fans but oftentimes can be combatted, at least to a certain degree, by switching up your Facebook strategy. Here are two of the changes that have been made recently: 1. Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Also keep in mind that as you accumulate bad points for these individual links, Facebook counts them against the entire domain so, for example, if Facebook flags www.yourdomain.com/my newest artcile as a low quality link, it will begin to consider all links that start with www.yourdomain.com as low quality links, no matter what comes after the slash (/). B. Pop up ads or lightboxes It wasn t that long ago pop ups were the bane of our online existence. Later, sites began to implement ads in lightboxes or modals a kind of pop up that doesn t open in the web page via a script or other types of programming so that they couldn t be blocked by pop up blockers until ultimately sites started to figure out that visitors hate any kind of ad that keeps them from viewing what they came to the site to view. But they haven t gone away completely; most sites have just modified their use to only make asks related to the site or brand itself, such as signing up for a newsletter, following them on social media, or just sharing the article, which can be a great list or follower builder. Unfortunately, Facebook makes no differentiation between these new uses and the pop up windows of old. If you have any kind call to action (CTA), regardless of whether it opens a secondary tab/window or if it is a lightbox that opens within your web page, Facebook will flag the page as a low quality experience because you are serving up an ad instead of taking the user immediately to view ... Although most issues can be worked through, a significant amount of time must be initially allotted to learning this process. * Why is it important? ANS: Using FHSS technology improves privacy, it is a powerful solution to avoid interference and multi path fading (distortion), it decreases narrowband interference, increases signal capacity, improve the signal to noise ratio, efficiency of bandwidth is high and difficult to intercept also this transmission can share a frequency band with many types of conventional transmissions with minimal interference. Direct Sequence Spread Spectrum (DSSS) Guidelines * What is it? ANS: Direct sequence spread spectrum (DSSS) is a transmission technology used in local area wireless network transmissions. In this technology, a data signal at the sending station is combined with a high data rate bit sequence, which divides user data based on a spreading ratio. * How does it work? ANS: The entire process is performed by multiplying a radio frequency carrier and a pseudo noise (PN) digital signal. The PN code is modulated onto an information signal using several modulation techniques such as quadrature phase shift keying (QPSK), binary phase shift keying (BPSK), etc. A doubly balanced mixer then multiplies the PN modulated ... The manipulation in Strange Tales from a Chinese Studio, specifically in the stories of Rouge and Snake Island, occurs as characters manipulate each other. This manipulation follows societal classes, as those othered by society manipulate the virtuous and elite, thus setting up a societal struggle defined by manipulation. The marginalized and elite form classes of people, thus making this societal struggle synonymous with a class struggle. When initially describing Big Mao, Pu says that Big Mao is disreputable character who had already made several fruitless attempts to seduce Madame Wang, and a an unscrupulous rogue, the worst kind of street thug, both of which directly assert that Big Mao is flawed character (411, 418). In addition to the direct descriptor that proves he is disreputable, the author uses an alliteration and lengthens the sentence to emphasize Big Mao s flaws. First, when initially describing him, the author says there lived in the district a disreputable character, which alliterates d to emphasize Big Mao s reputation (411). Also, in the same sentence, Pu Songling introduces Big Mao by first describing where Big Mao lived and his nature and then awkwardly adding that he goes by the name of Big Mao. (411) This strange sentence syntax stresses the importance of Big Mao s nature which when coupled with the alliteration prove that Big Mao, the other man who manipulates Rouge, is not virtuous; because Big Mao lacks virtue, he is flawed character, and thus he differs from the societal norms and, when compared to Rouge, a member of the lower class. The idea of how they relate in terms of theory becomes a highly complex analysis because the threads for all three programs are virtually the same and shaped heavily by the social sciences. In regards to the history of early childhood education, there is a high level of connectedness between care and education. What does curriculum mean? For the sake of identifying quality, curriculum is a key component for building sustainable early childhood education programs. • 46. Essay on Linking Eating Disorders With Genetics While Bulimia is known by many names, the term bulimia did not enter the English language until the 1970s, perhaps representing lingering uncertainty about its essence (Gordon, 2000). Bulimia, as we know it, is a modern disease, however, there is some evidence of binging and purging in ancient times; for example, in ancient Egypt, physicians would recommend periodical purgation as a health practice (Gordon, 2000). There has also been documentation of wealthy families in the middle ages vomiting during meals in order to continue eating large amounts of food. At this point, you may be wondering why these examples are not considered Bulimia Nervosa. According to Dr. Richard Allan Gordon, author of Eating Disorders: Anatomy of a Social ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... It is now defined as Recurring episodes of eating significantly more food in a short period of time than most people would eat under similar circumstances, with episodes marked by feelings of lack of control.... The person may have feelings of guilt, embarrassment, or disgust and may binge eat alone to hide the behavior . It is important to note that there is a difference between over eating and binge eating, while over eating is a recognizable problem for many people, binge eating is much less common, far more severe, and associated with significant physiological and psychological problems (DSM 5). Binge Eating Disorder is similar to Bulimia Nervosa in that we see episodes of eating large amounts of food, the difference being that there is no purging after the binging episode. It is seen highly among obese patients, but, perhaps due to a reluctance to relate obesity with an eating disorder, it was not recognized as distinct from Bulimia Nervosa until the early 1990s (Gordon, 2000). Some of the first documented cases of Anorexia Nervosa were religious in origin. As early as the 12th century we saw women, particularly in Western Christianity, known as Miracle Maidens who were highly esteemed for their self control, their holy anorexia was thought of as a gift from God. The piano then becomes a symbol for the taboos that are placed on the Europeans and their lives.
