 Challenging start to the year – macro environment, late Spring weather, disruption in
the Middle East
 We continue to look beyond the shorter term and remain focused also on delivering
long term, sustainable value
 We expect to deliver the Nestlé Model in 2013:
– organic growth between 5% and 6%
– an improved trading operating profit margin and underlying earnings per share in
constant currency
– improvement in our capital efficiency
