⢠2. Can you find any written articles about âJourneysâ for your demographic? It could be a celebrity, person of interest or news article. How could this be documented in a series of images of
short film.
⢠3. What have you learned from this research? How does it help you with your ideas for your production?
3. The client
⢠My client is 'Mindâ. Mind is an organizationthat helps people with their mental health they
are also known as a mental health charity; that was founded in 1946. They are a movement
of people trying to encourage positive changes to peoples' personal lives, homes,
workplace and communities. I am required to produce a creative advertisement that is
meant to make people smile. In order to be to accomplish this I mustresearch on what
makes people smile, what people find funny and what makes people react with a smile.
4. Who is the target audience?
⢠This project is aimed at my community; therefore, this means people round about my
age eg. My generation. I want to aim this advertisement at people have mental health
issues and can get extremely stressed. In my opinion, I believe that I will be able to
connect with this project personally due to who this will be aimed at (mental health
issues, deals with with bad stress).
5. What is the purpose of the company?
⢠The purpose of Mind is to help people with dealing with their mental health
problems. They have manygoals that they would like to achieve for example,
empowering choice. Empowering choice is when they can empower people who
expierence mental health problems to make informed choices about how they live and
recover. Mind doesnât really have a specific age demographic as mantal health
problems can be at any age. Another goal of theirs is to enable socail participation this
means that they open doors to people with mental health problems participating fully
in society.
6. What issues do you have to consider in regard
to your client?
⢠Issues I am needing to consider in regard to my client is that it needs to meet their
standards and critieras. For instance, the campaign is called smile therefore I wouldnât
create a product that is sad or depressing as it wouldnât match Minds needs and
wants. As a result of this I would construct an advertisement that shows happiness
etc.
7. Mind map
Smile â mental
health
Doing something that they
really enjoy. For example,
horse riding, art, going out,
sports, frineds, travelling
Advertisement about what
a specific group of people
love and that makes the
smile
9. ⢠An idea for the advertisement campaign for âMindâ is a montage of
having fun with friends and doing what they love. By demonstrating
this, I am able to meet the success criteria as I will be showing how
smiling and doing stuff that makes a person happy can reduce stress
and help mental health. There is scientific research to prove that
smiling helps reduce stress and many articles.
