- 1. Proposal 1 Working Title: Divers Delight Audience: My project is targeted towards an audience that likes swimming, diving and photography. 84% of my readers will most likely be male between the agesof 26-55. I will Try make my product appeal to this age group by including a list of different activities suitable for a wide range of people. My target audience leansmore towards married upper class people, usually in full time employment with discretionary spending. I assume a large percentage of my readers will be planning to travel to an off-shore diving location each year and will most likely be accompanied by a companion who also dive s as well. To get these people to buy and read my magazine, I can include a list of new off-shore and shore diving locations with a list of what each one has to offer. Divers are usually adventurers and when not diving will be looking for other adventure like activities to enjoy. To accommodate this, I will have a page at the end of the magazine of activities that will be coming up in the next couple of months with a few pointers on how to get involved and what it will include. Rationale (approx. 100 words) In my opinion, I think I have made good progress throughout the course of the past month while doing my final project because of the production experimentswhere I had to over step my boundaries and do something completely new. I have made some progress throughout the other rotations, but nothing that I thought really stood out to me as something that I would want to make again. I acquired the skill of photo manipulation in Photoshop as well as how to properly edit sound into a mute video. The year has been an interesting one and I’m looking forward to learning new techniques and won’t be worried about trying or putting effort in. Overall, I think that I have learnt a lot over the course of this year and am willing to learn more through next year as well. Project Concept (approx. 200 words) The concept for my project is photography underwater. However, I’m tied between that and photo manipulation after I did an experiment to try for this project. The research I will need to conduct for my final project is going to be looking up magazinesof diving, and photo manipulation adverts/posters. My plan is to make a poster and a magazine front cover and double page spread on underwater photography and scuba diving in general. I’m not 100% sure what I’m going to do yet because diving recently hasn’t been possible due to certain issues. Evaluation (approx. 50 words) To evaluate my work, I will look over everything I have done in this project and explain the processes that I went through and how I thought it went. I will then get Feedback from three different people on what they liked and disliked about the product as well aswhat I could do to improve on it.
- 2. Proposal 2 Schedule WEEK OVERALL PLAN SPECIFIC TASKS 1 Initial Response + Proposal Complete mind maps and mood board. Gather 15 images and describe what they have in common as well as the components you will use in your final product. 2 Product + Audience Research Research audience and send out survey to people to get results of what people like. Gather at least 10 survey responses as well as 3/5 interviews. 3 Production Experiments 3 experiments exploring new ideas and techniques that will make you learn new skills and push you to try something you haven’t done before. Evaluate and explain how you created the experiment and if you would try something similar or add parts of it into your final project. Describe how you made the experiments by talking about the tools that were used, the different colours and how it felt after you finished it. Link it bac to style sheet and make it relevant to your plans for final product. 4 Pre-Production and Planning proposal, planning what to do and having a final idea before production starts. Make sure the proposal and pre- production is detailed and up to date to get a good 5 Production gather photographs and put them on to

Make sure all the photographs are high quality and not blurry and then back them up on a USB as well as the computer. 6 Production put the photos into Photoshop and start editing using tools and techniques learned while doing experiments. 7 Production finish editing and save the photos as a jpeg file to add onto the production process PowerPoint. Talk about the processes the tools used to get a better grade. Use technical terms to describe the work. 8 Production Talk about my processes and what I thought of the overall product as well as what could be improved. 9 Evaluation Evaluate my project fairly and unbiasedly. Make sure to talk about the good things and the things that could be improved. Maybe get someone’s opinion and make a note of what they say so that next time you could use that feedback to create something even better 10 Development + Contingency Finish up all written work and put it on my blog as a new post. Make sure to save regularly and publish at the end.
