This slide share presentation displays 10 images which I have analysed as they all have potential of being used for my school magazine. The presentations looks at the reasons behind why each one could be used. [03/01/2016]
1. These are both potential images for my school magazine as it is the
perfect example for how the designing and technology part of the school
is utilised. Both images are of pupils during the process of creating their
products. It is also portrays how the school possess the correct equipment
for students to finish their school projects. Finally, these images would be
good to use on the front cover of my school magazine as they’re a good
representation of how the students at Archbishop Ilsley independent and
well behaved as they’re handling dangerous tools.
2. All of these images could be used in relation to a science based article
regarding the science life at Archbishop Ilsley and how it has progressed over
the years in terms of the new equipment which they have been able to
acquire. Additionally, these images could be used to talk about the after
school science clubs that the school has in place for the students to come and
discover new things. The picture on the far right is one of the experiments
done in lesson and looks quite dangerous and even though a teacher was
present, this can not be seen. Therefore I might not use this image.
3. Both of these images display the physical and sport side to Archbishop Ilsley
as it would be significant to mention how Archbishop Ilsley have their own
Astro turf which the kids use at break and lunch and also during their P.E.
lessons. This is a privilege that not many schools possess. In context with my
magazine, these could be used in order advertise the sport pages in the
magazine such as sport articles.
4. I could use all these images to adequately advertise the school of
possessing the capability to provide the students with the correct
equipment for their music lessons. This sheds the school under a
positive light as it displays how the school allows the students to fully
excel in everything that they do. The image of the student in the middle
playing the drums again reiterates the idea of independence that the
school gives the students.
