Indirect – looking away and not engaging with audiences – hence giving the
impression that they are in the moment and are enjoying their time. Also
they all are smiling or talking which links to the school motto “harmony” as
they are getting along with eachother. The image also shows different
ethnicities and races of people, which not only further reinforces the motto
but also shows the school to be diverse and equal.
In addition the background and/or the surroundings are safe, green and
tidy, there is no litter present and half of the bin in the right side of the
image to support the idea that the school is tidy.
This is a landscape image of the schools recent building – Lerner.
The natural light has given the building a softer look, but the
building still has it`s efficient look. Also in the foreground and
practically all around there are trees, from big to small which
contrasts, as the greenery represents nature and the building
represents the future and modernism. This is not necessarily a
bad thing as it adds onto making the building softer. The angle of
the image makes the layout of the building, fences and greenery
look professional and organised.
This is a close up portrait image of a student
working on the computer.
The image has been taken at eye level to make
the audiences feel that they are on her level, it
gives them a connection and a feel of what she
is doing. Also what she is doing is representative
of what other students do – listen to music and
complete work at the same time– which would
be a thing that younger audiences who see this
image would understand.
Also there is a bag in front of her, to give the
effect that she`s a bit further back.
In the background there is merely the side of a
computer, which could show that the school is
spacious and has many resources.
In this image, everything is going on, or in simpler words it is a action
shot of a bunch of people who (not all know, there is a picture being
taken). It shows the natural atmosphere inside the building. There are
people in the background, teachers around doing their work and
printing and students scattered around, talking, working and writing. In
addition they are all dressed smart and have conducted themselves
well. Also to highlight the point that there are people in front who seem
bigger than those standing in the back. The blinds are open, allowing
the natural light to come in which makes the area look appealing and
spacious.
This is a portraite image of
a small, rarely noticed
statue at the front of the
school. It creates an effect
of peacefulness, grace and
represents the schools
specialty of performing
arts
