Empire is a British film magazine company that was published monthly by Bauer
Consumer media. Empire magazine is both popular approach and coverage, it
reviews mainstream films and art films mainly in the action and marvel genre
region. The magazine also focuses on film news, previews and reviews. Empire
has a very large bold red logo which is seen on the front of every magazine.
Although it is usually red the logo may be adapted to the color of the main
background on the magazine to fit in with the selected color theme. The bold text
is used to engage the audience to buy the film magazine. On the front cover to
make it even more eye catching they always have a large image of the an action
scene of the main character of the selected film chosen. This will be eye catching
to the audience members that are already fans of the celebrity on the front of the
cover, this is an effective marketing technique.

magazine is a special
copy, engaging the
audience to buy it.

contrast to the background
making it very visual, it

Sight and sound is an international film magazine, the
magazine features both mainstream and independent films
giving them a wide audience base. The sight and sound
magazines are different to other famous film magazines
including empire as they mainly focus on famous directors
rather than the film itself. They also look at famous actors
who are in the selected films. The magazine is aimed at
people who enjoy films and the behind the scenes of films
but who also like to see honest reviews on films including
critical ones, the magazine provides a more honest opinion.
