Film Journal International I believe that are movie is more likely to feature in a
magazine such as Empire. Empire tends to attract a younger audience due to its bold,
bright and vivid front covers that tend to easier grab the attention of a younger
audience. Are film is aimed for 15-30 year old's a similar audience which mainly
attracts Empires audience. This would mean that are film is more likely to get viewed
through this magazine rather than any other movie magazine. The more publicity the
movie can get the better it will be for the movie and the more popular it is likely to
become.

For planning my own
magazine cover for my
movie there are different
aspects of this issue that I
can reflect on and use for
my own movie despite the
fact that my movie is a
thriller. The bold
camerawork is something
that I want to use the
longshot which includes
the dull body image of
characters is powerful and
appealing. The mise en
scene is also important as
it allows the magazines
audience to identify what
genre the film is.
