Surface is divided into two layers Si-Al (Silicon and
Aluminum) and Si-Ma (Silicon and Magnesium )
Discontinuity of two layers is known as Conrad –

Teacher explain the surface of Earth
Earth is formed with the rocks.
After a certain depth of surface, earth is not solid like
surface and different character in nature due to high
pressure and temperature.
Teacher show the video of Earth surface -
Water is not the component of earth
The basin like portions are filled with water i.e. ocean
basin in the earth crust.
Rising parts of crust are continents.
All the continents and ocean basins are on the crust.-

Elaboration Phase
These facts are occurred due to release of heat from earth
and contraction takes place and as well as taking its natural
shape and present form.
Earth is formed with the rocks. After a certain depth of
surface, earth is not solid like surface due to high
temperature and pressure of it.
Earth crust is comparatively solid in form rather than sub
surface materials of the earth.
After various observations by Scientists, all layers have an
average depth and having different specific gravity.
Earth changes shapes from gaseous form to present shape
due to cooling. All the materials concentrated as their
specific gravity and try to solidify.
All the layers are identified by the earthquake wave.
Different layers react different responses.
Specific gravity and of Different State Layers

  • 2. Engagement Phase ( Introduction) Good Morning all of you, A soft layer surface of boiled milk. After few minutes of preparation of rice, a soft layer is found upper portion of the starch. Explore Phase Teacher shows diagram of Interior of Earth surface- Teacher explains the concept of Earth crust. Surface is divided into two layers Si-Al (Silicon and Aluminum) and Si-Ma (Silicon and Magnesium ) Discontinuity of two layers is known as Conrad – discontinuity. Mantle of the earth. Teacher take participation of students & say show the Earth crust on diagram- Core of the earth Ni-Fe (Nickel and Ferrous) Moho discontinuity and Guten Burg discontinuity Visit Geological Survey of India Visit Meteorological Office. Student listen & observe carefully Student active participate in teaching process Student observe and defined core of earth Student search information for Interior of Earth crust on websites. What is mean by Sial & Sima? Explanation Phase Teacher explain the surface of Earth Earth is formed with the rocks. After a certain depth of surface, earth is not solid like surface and different character in nature due to high pressure and temperature. Teacher show the video of Earth surface - Water is not the component of earth The basin like portions are filled with water i.e. ocean basin in the earth crust. Rising parts of crust are continents. All the continents and ocean basins are on the crust.- Teacher Explain this reason Student observe various types of rocks & give answer Students see carefully video & understand the parts of Earth crust, Metal, core etc. Students give answer Students give answer Student listen carefully What are the types of rocks? Give examples of ocean basin. Which continents located on Earth surface? Elaboration Phase These facts are occurred due to release of heat from earth and contraction takes place and as well as taking its natural shape and present form. Earth is formed with the rocks. After a certain depth of surface, earth is not solid like surface due to high temperature and pressure of it. Earth crust is comparatively solid in form rather than sub surface materials of the earth. After various observations by Scientists, all layers have an average depth and having different specific gravity. Earth changes shapes from gaseous form to present shape due to cooling. All the materials concentrated as their specific gravity and try to solidify. All the layers are identified by the earthquake wave. Different layers react different responses. Specific gravity and of Different State Layers Student try to understand how are made various rock under the Earth surface. Student develops the curiosity about solid form material and layer depth of Earth surface. Student understands responses of different layer.

Evaluation Phase Following questions should be asked to the learners  How did we know the layers of the earth?  Why different materials are concentrated at different layers.  Which layer produces the earth's magnetic field? Search video of Interior of Earth surface & write information.
