Facts :
The Earth has been devided into three different layers
1. Crust 2. Mantle 3. Core
Crust is the Comparatively thin outer shell of the Earth
Approximately 40 km thick.
Two parts – Continental crust, oceamic crust.
As silica and alumina are the chief contents, the continental crust is also known as SIAL
As silica and magnesium are the chief contents, the oceamic crust is also known as SIMA
Mantle is located beneath the crust
It has two parts upper mantle and lower mantle
2. The third layer of earth was core it is the central part of the earth.
It has two parts outer core and inner core.
