to see more images then read a long article.

• It also makes the double page spread aesthetically
pleasing and makes it easier for the reader to read
compered to if it was in big chunks

• The magazine has included the logo on the page
to promote the magazine and remind the reader
which magazine they are reading.
Captions:
• The caption tells the reader a little bit about
the person.
• Caption may also give information about the
TV show in this case the documentary.
Pull Quote:
• A pull quote is key convention of magazine articles.
• The purpose of it is to interest the reader in to reading the
article, which is why its short so its easy to read.
• It also highlights information included in the article which
further entices the reader to read it.

5. Main Image:
• The main image is the main attraction of the article its purpose is to give aclue
to the reader about what the article will be about.
• The main image usually takes up half of the double page spread.
Headline:
• It should give a hint about what the article is about
• It is usually the largest text on the page.
