2. The audience liked our pitch as they found it well though out. Specifically
they like the depth we went into, such as mise-en-scene, camera, editing and
the use of sound. They liked how we has planned out those things and how
we thought about the relations they have to the psychological genre. In
specific we focused around the elements of ‘Identity’ and ‘Mind’. This was
easy to represent through our idea of amnesia and the use of relationships
to help contrast the characters innocence and self doubt. The audience also
liked how we went into detail with our idea and came up with a concept. By
doing this it meant we were able to go in depth about our idea and story and have
everything planned out beforehand which makes for a good opening.
What was good about it
3. What we could improve
The main thing we have to improve on is how we link the previous actions
to the character running away. It was initially unclear of why she was
running so we tried to come up with a solution to this. We will make it
clearer by planning and filming a variety of different scenarios, this means
if we don’t like the first idea or we don’t feel like it’s clear enough then
we always have something to fall back on which makes out filming more
efficient and productive
