1. Question six:
What have you learnt about technologies from the
process of constructing this product?
2.
3. In order to produce my media products I used many different
forms of technology to complete my media product. To create my
front cover I used Adobe Photoshop and for both my contents
page and double page spread I used In design. To take the
pictures for all my products I used the camera DSLR, this allowed
me to take the most high quality photographs for my magazine.

5. In order to produce my front cover I used Adobe
Photoshop, before starting my media product I wasn’t so
aware of how to use Photoshop. However, whilst making my
front cover I learn how to add effects to words such out
outline text and overshadowing and to my images, allowing
my masthead and main imagine to stand out. I also learnt
keyboard shortcuts such as ctrl+T to change the sizing of
my images, this allowed the process of getting my front
cover done to speed up drastically and improve my front
cover quicker then I could have when not knowing shortcuts
on Photoshop.

7. In order to produce both my contents page and double page
spread I used In design. This was my first time using In design
therefore everything I did was new to me. I learnt many new
things about In design whilst producing both my contents pages
and double page spread. Moreover, I discovered how to import
text from word and how to import images using the correct tools
on In design. I also found the guide lines extremely useful in
creating my products as they acted as a guide so I wouldn’t
lose any content of my magazine. I also learnt how to remove
these when wanting to see what my product would eventually
look like, using the shortcut ctrl+W.

9. Throughout using the DSLR camera, I found that the quality
of my images had drastically changed from my first plan of
my front cover and both contents page and double page
spread. I used the best camera in order to get the best high
quality photographs for my products to look as professional
as possible.
