1. Question 6 What Have You Learnt About Technologies From The Process Of Constructing This Product?
2. I used a range of different technologies to help me create my magazine including: Digital SLR Camera Adobe Photoshop Quarkxpress Blogger.com Dafont.com
3. Digital SLR Camera To get high focussed photographs of a professional standard, I captured the images with a Nikon digital SLR camera. This camera allowed me to capture high quality, professional pictures as I was able to use all of the different settings to increase lighting and brightness of pictures etc. I did a photo shoot with my models and took a variety of different pictures and then I was able to pick the best pictures to use for my magazines.
4. Adobe Photoshop Photoshop is the main programme I have used when creating my magazine as I edited all my pictures on it. It was particularly good for making my front cover as I was able to edit and perfect my pictures, so that let looked a lot more eye catching. I changed the exposure so that some of the images were clearer to see and I also increased the contrast to give a more professional look. Photoshop was new to me when I first started using it, but I managed to learn how to use it quite quickly.
5. Quarkxpress I used this software to create my double page spread and contents page. It was good for these as I was able to create columns really easily to make my magazine look real. I had to insert my images from photoshop therefore I had to use the picture box tool.
6. Blogger.com I have used blogger frequently as I post all of my media work onto it to be marked. I find it really simple to use as everything is clear and it is easy to insert pictures, links, videos etc to help present my coursework.
7. Dafont.com I used dafont.com to find different fonts to use in my magazine. I was able to pick a font with the correct connotations for my magazine and a font in which linked in with my target audience. I found it simple to use as I could download the font onto my user area and insert in into my magazine whenever I needed to use it.
