What have you learnt about technologies from the process of constructing this product?
Photoshop was massively important in creating my magazine as it was the main tool I
used. Before starting my media AS course I did not know anything about Photoshop;
however I have now learnt how to use guidelines to set out my work, editing, cropping
around images adding text and images. I used all of these skills in my magazine, my
main front cover image on my magazine needed the most work doing to it as the model
needed cropping round and editing and I needed to use guidelines to set out the cover lines neatly.
Blog.com was a massive part of my AS media as this is where we had
to upload all our final coursework, blog.com shares your work with
millions of people around the world. Before AS media I did not know
how to use blog.com, blog.com is massively important as without this
our final coursework would not be able to be marked.
Adobe illustrator was very important in my music magazine as this is how I created
my main logo for the magazine. In illustrator you are able to essentially draw, this I
used for a short period of time whilst constructing my logo that I then based my
magazine around.
This is photo shop in use; this is while I was
editing the photo. In this screenshot I am
using the lasso tool to crop around the
picture to put into my front cover. Before
starting the media as course I did not know
how to use photo shop or edit a photo and I
used the lasso tool to cut out the
background and make it neater.
