1. The three main
strengths of my
magazineare the
masthead, the main
image and the cover
lines.
The areas of improvementwereidentified to be the
cover lines. This is dueto the fact that they could have
been worded differently to bringa moreprofessional
feel to the magazine and may help in what the target
audiencewantto read as they are mainly studentswho
are completing their A levels. However, the font style
and positioningof the texts can be kept the same as they
are effective in graspingthe reader’sattention.
I do agree with the
assessment of peer as
he has outlined what
can be improved on
my magazinecover
and how I can make it
seem more
professional. He has
also given mean
insight into what my
target audience
actually wantto read
and what interests
them.
If I had to re submit the task, I would change the
wordingof the cover lines so that I can makethem
seem moreprofessionaland so that they interest the
target audiencemuchmore. I would also change the
positioningof my main image and lower it down the
page. This is so that it is not obstructing my masthead
as my magazine is not a well-known magazineand
may confusepeopleif they saw it on display.
Yes I do believe
that the feedback
has been
constructiveand
helpfulas it has
enabled meto see
what needs
improvingand
what the
improvements
will affect in the
way in which my
audiencesee the
magazine.
