1. How did you use media
technologies in the construction
and research, planning and
evaluation stages?

2. • For my evaluation of my coursework I needed to gather some
audience feedback. I accomplished this by putting together
and inbox on Facebook and inviting my friends to view my
newspaper. I asked them to comment on features of the
newspaper and what was good and what could possibly be
changed. By doing this I was able to understand what I had
done well. I felt that using Facebook was an easy process for
me as I have gathered audience feedback before by doing the
same process for my AS year.

3. • In the construction stages of my coursework I used the
software Photoshop for the majority of the time it took
to make my newspaper. I used the software for creating
and editing pieces of texts, manipulating my images and
putting all the features of the newspaper together as
one. I have previously used Photoshop ion my AS year
when designing a music magazine so I had already had
previous experience with requirements of creating a
newspaper.

4. • When taking my photographs I used my android smart phone
Samsung Galaxy S3 because of its high megapixel camera
which allowed me to take high quality pictures. It was easy for
me to take the images, upload them to my computer and
start to edit them on Photoshop because of past experiences
with the software.

5. • I used this software to create my radio advertisement.
This was my first time using the software so at first it was
a challenge for me to understand how to use it properly.
By using this I was able to add music and add effects to
my voice recording so that the radio ad sounded like a
real advertisement. A feature which I liked the most
about Adobe Audition was that I was able to merge
together my voice recording and the music in the
background so that it sounded smooth flowing.

6. • For my market research I had to construct an online
survey for people to answer so that I could get a
better understanding as to what people want from a
newspaper. I used the website survey monkey to put
together a set of questions which when answered
would analyse them and put them into graphs and
percentages so that it was easy for me to see who
had replied with what answers.
