Evaluation question 5
2. Photoshop
• This is the first time I have ever used Photoshop, it is
useful as there’s a wide range of tools available to help
you transform your photos.
• I experimented with the filters and layering to get my
photos looking right for my magazine, there is also a
cutting option in order to get rid of parts you don’t
want.
• I used photoshop to create my magazine front cover,
contents page and double page spread… it was useful
as the amount of options available in order to make
your magazine look professional and yet still artistic
allowed me to create the magazine I wanted.
3. Photobooth
• I used photo booth for 2 of my evaluation
questions. It was useful as it gave me a unique
way of presenting my evaluation questions, I
used photo booth in order to create a video
where I answer there questions directly.
4. Different media websites
• One of the websites I have used is bloggs, you use it to
create mind maps online, it is useful for any ideas you
may have or for planning something out. I chose to use
it for one of my evaluation questions and it was very
effective in displaying the information in a different
way.
• Another website I have used is ‘Go Animate’, this is a
website where you use video templates to get
characters to talk. This is great to use for presentations
as it really catches your eye, and listening to something
is always easier and more than having to read it.
5. Blogger
• Blogger is the blog website owned by Google
which we used to upload our coursework. It is a
great site for anyone in the media industry,
bloggers, journalists and entertainers can all use
Blogger to their benefit. It tells you exactly how
many people view your site and in which
countries you are most popular, meaning you are
able to put up what is most appealing to your
audience. You can also make money from the
site, it is an amount depending on the amount of
views you get.
