mode of address coming from two of the member
which suggests that they are two of the main
members of the band. The clothing that they’re
wearing is dark colours which are mainly black
leather jackets which suggest the genre of music
which they play which is rock music. The member
of the band at the back of the image has no
clothing on his top half which shows a rebellious
and edgy look to the band which links in well with
the genre of rock which usually has rebellious
artists within the genre.

people will aspire to also dress like One Direction.

them as being serious with their facial expressions
and direct mode of address. The serious facial
expressions on the band members suggests the
music they make is rock music. On the other hand,
there are bright colours on the clothing which is
usually associated with upbeat Pop music so this
implies the genre of music Pop/Rock. This
representation of the band for Pop/Rock is
appealing to its target audience the way the band
is presented through the use of the clothing that
they are wearing and the facial expressions.
