Career Summary
I am working as a Mechanical Technologist (Process Area Field Maintenance) since May,
2005 to currently at Pak Arab Oil Refinery, Pakistan. I have hands on experience of
Preventive, Corrective, Break Down and Turn Around Maintenance Activities of Rotating &
Static equipments e.g. Pumps (Centrifugal & Positive Displacement Pumps), Compressors
(Reciprocating & Centrifugal), Steam Turbines, Blowers, Gear Boxes, Electric Motors, , AFC’s,
Vessels, Sulphur granulation/ Solidification Machines, Heat exchangers, Reactors, Fired
Heaters, Valves, etc.
Current Accountabilities
• Attend morning meeting and discussion daily job and planner, receiving work
requests, conducting Job site visit, arrangement of resources & taking work
permits.
• Well awareness of safety & operating environment, zoning principals, Work Permit
system, task risk assessments and JSA.
• Attend group safety meetings; conduct Tool Box safety talks to the crew.
• Participate in the planning, scheduling and execution of shutdown and major
overhaul maintenance activities.
• Leading a Crew Consisting of Technician/ Millwrights and Fitters for jobs Execution.
• Keep the equipment Data, History and Maintenance records in SAP system.
• Maintaining the levels of Spares & identify spare parts required for maintenance
work, from manufacturers’ drawings and spare parts lists through SAP system.
• Condition monitoring checks of rotating equipments.
• Failure analysis and recommend technical solutions.
• Sound hand skills on Study of P&IDs, manufacturers’ manuals and Cross Sectional
drawings.
• Carries out minor modification work on mechanical plant and equipment as per
manufacturer’s drawings.

etc.
• Hand on Skills using of Hydraulic Tools e.g. Hydraulic Bolt Tensioners &

Removal & Installation of all Internals job also coordinate with UOP Mechanical
