SAHARA PETROCHEMICALS, JUBAIL, SAUDI ARABIA
Currently working as Field Operator in operations department
CA (Chlor Alkali) and EDC (Ethylene dichloride) project. Having 250,000 DMT capacity of NAOH
and 300,000 MT capacity of EDC per annum. Assigned area of chlorine and hydrogen treatment and
compression system. CELLHOUSE area with capacity of 768 tpd with UDHE
TECHNOLOGY(GERMANY).
Responsibilities:
• To operate all equipment in the CA/EDC designated area according to the established
operating procedure and in full coordination with the CA/EDC Panel Operators.
• Take field readings on regular interval and record operating parameters.
• Reports operating conditions and / or any situation to his Group Leader or Supervisor.
• Maintains knowledge of the process piping, flows, and process units in the field and all plant
modifications.
• Recognizes process problems early to prevent major upsets to the operation by maintaining
quality unit surveillance.
• Take / run samples according to the existing sample schedule and special samples as
needed. Inform Panel operator of the sample result so that proper actions can be taken.

2. BYCO PETROLEUM REFINERY
Worked as an officer in operations from Jan 2013 to June 2013
It is the biggest refinery in Pakistan, was commissioned in 2012. It has the capacity of 150,000BPSD.
This refinery is equipped with Yokogawa control system.
Responsibilities:
• Verifies the operation of all instrumentation in his area and reacts to any deviations /Problems.
• Maintain high level of Plant cleanliness for Safety and Plant appearance.
• Prepare equipment for maintenance according to Company Policy and follows up
on maintenance activities in his area to ensure they adhere to the BYCO Safety
Procedures and to the specific instructions given in the Work Permit. Stops any
deviation and consults
With the Operations supervisor or Lead Operator.
• Responsible for following sampling schedule and the follow up on sample results.
• Coordinates with the Panel Operator to make adjustments in equipment operation
necessary to maintain operating parameters within the required range.
• Verifies the operation of all instrumentation in his area and reacts to any deviations,
Problems.
• Works special assignments as directed by the Supervisor or Departmental Management.

Responsibilities:
•Record operating data, such as process conditions, test results, or instrument readings.
•Monitor recording instruments, flow meters, panel lights, or other indicators and listen for
warning signals, to verify conformity of process conditions.
•Draw samples of products and conduct quality control tests to monitor processing and to ensure
that standards are met.
•Regulate or shut down equipment during emergency situations, as directed by supervisory
personnel.
•Start pumps to wash and rinse reactor vessels, to exhaust gases or vapors, to regulate the flow of
oil, steam, air, or perfume to towers, or to add products to converter or blending vessels

• Completes all routine reading sheets and responds to deviation.
Completes all required Call Files.
• Prepare process equipment’s, vessels, lines etc. prior to start up, shutdown or for any
