Lamar is the sort of person that I would expect to
buy my music magazine. He is 21, single and works
as sales assistant in JD. His favourite rapper is Tyga.
Besides Tyga he also likes 50 Cent, Drake and
Kanye West. The latest album that he bought was
‘Nothing was the same’ by Drake. Lamar likes to go
to live concerts. He is planning to go to Tyga’s
concert this year in the UK. Lamar listens to rap
music all the times.

3. How does my magazine attract
and address the target
audience?
I attract and address the audience with the images used in my front cover,
contents page and main article. Also the languages used in my article, the
contents of my magazine e.g. type of rappers and music all attract and
address the target audience.
4. Language
The style of language used in the
article would appeal to my
audience because it uses
swearwords which are used
frequently in rap music, this
therefore links to the genre of
music and to its audience
Images
My images are black and white apart from one
of the images which appears on the contents
page but this image is also fairly dark. This
relates to the genre of rap as its contents is
quite dark and serious. The people that listen to
this type of music may be quite serious and
therefore it may attract them.

The type of music artists that are
mentioned in my magazine would
attract a target audience such as
Lamar because they are popular
rappers which make the genre of
music that my magazine is about.
