2. • I’m going to name my music magazine ‘ Gangsta Hop’ because
musicians who do ‘Rap’ and ‘Hip-Hop’ are normally gangsters , I will
use the symbol $ as the ‘s’s because rappers sometimes have big
chains around the necks of that symbol also , replacing rap with
gangster spelt with ‘a’ instead of ‘er’ because it is recognized that way
by people who listen to this genre; then placing ‘Hop’ so that it is
clear to the target audience what a sub-genre it is.
3. • My music magazine will be about photo shoots, interviews, concert reviews, songs
made by rappers etc.
4. The design of the title will be in a 3d font to look more stylish because the name of my
magazine ‘gangsta hop’ is more than a title/masthead it’s a culture of some people in
this modern day society. I will incorporate the colours red, white, black but it depends
on the colour of the main image because I want both colours to compliment each
other. And it will be a skyliner I want it to fill the top of the magazine.
5. I will be choosing the main image it will be along the lines of someone posing with a
prop such as a microphone, headphones, instrument etc. There will be also other
images related to the genre opposite the cover lines they will be used to give insight
on what is inside the magazine.
6. The potential target audience are young adults because it appeals more to them and
music of this genre is quite popular with the young generation.
7. The target audience will find the front image appealing hopefully
because it is going to be dynamic it will be a posed photography of
someone probably me posing as a rapper with a microphone. Other
images will be included on the front page which will link to my cover
lines or articles and instruments/objects used for the music genre rap.
There will be articles about concert’s and tickets, particular songs,
interviews, new alums, and they are all related to the title of my music
magazine ‘GANGSTA HOP’.
They amount of fonts I use will be controlled, they will be various sizes
for the cover lines depending on its importance, only three will be used
colours which will compliment the main image, and they will be
different styles of font and my target audience will find these appealing
because of the variety of things on the front page.
And the chosen font will depict the genre (rap) of my music magzine.
