Appealing places like
cities, popular areas
This will really grab
the audience
This will
connote
happiness
5. Mind Map
• Strengths of using this method
– When linking with ideas in a mind map it helps to
express loads more ideas into one and different
categories.
• Weaknesses of using this method
– A mind map isn’t very visual, and doesn’t involve
any images.
• Did you like using this method? Why?
Yes, I liked using this method because I picked specific
categories which helped in forming together loads of new and
different ideas, therefore by the end I had a idea on what my
poster would look like and the types of audiences it will appeal
7. Mood Board
• Strengths of using this method
It starts to picture together more ideas and by picking a
specific idea I can explore that through images.
• Weaknesses of using this method
Might not find the exact images online which relate
towards my own idea
This is also time consuming ,may take too long
• Did you like using this method? Why?
Yes because it abled me to have a strong idea on the exact way in
which my poster would look and turn out,and the images on the
mood board inspire me for my poster to turn out looking just like
8. Style Sheet
The main two fonts in which I will
focus on is ‘happy time’ for my
slogan/phrase because I like the
way the font is on an angle and
really grabs the attention to the
font.secondly I will be using the
font ‘loki cola’ for my original cola
logo to present the brand.both of
these will be in (white) to make
sure it really stands out.
9. Style Sheet
• Strengths of using this method
– I was able to have 2 mains fonts at the end to which I was
going to use and the correct colours to match
– It also helps to understand my theme of urban as it
represents urban colours.
• Weaknesses of using this method
– Might be time consuming
– It also may mean that I cant choose through all the
different fonts to which is my favourite.
• Did you like using this method? Why?
Yes,I liked using this method cause it helped me to understand my
colour scheme and which fonts suited how my poster would turn
10. Layout PlanThis
background
features
saturated
colours
which will
grab the
attention
towards my
audience
Wide shot,
shows a
full view of
the city
which a big
city like
this may
interest the
audience.
I will use photoshop magic
tool to cut out both of the
coke bottles and place them
at the bottom left of my
poster
This is my logo which will
be in full white and placed
at the bottom right using
the ‘happy time’ font quite
big to stand out
GIVE A LITTLE HAPPINESS
My slogan present sharing a coke
presents happiness and the spread of
love between people this denotes
people will want a coca cola
11. Layout Plan
• Strengths of using this method
– A layout plan forms my poster together, to how it will
almost look in Photoshop, and helps me to see which
ways the font e.g. look best with different layout
positions.
• Weaknesses of using this method
– Layout plans sometimes feature to many ideas,
leading to it becoming overcrowded.
• Did you like using this method? Why?
I like the layout plan because it produces how your end product
poster will turn out too look like which is very helpful.
12. Evaluation
• Throughout creating my coca cola poster I came across
that my mind map really helped me to form together
one idea which I was going to included, also my mood
board helped as one of the images really inspired me
to create that, however the style sheet resulted in me
having to many fonts which I struggled with choosing
between them. The end result of my poster turned out
how I expected although I did struggle using photoshop
with the magic tool and cutting things out perfectly as
for next time I would try out more than one layout plan
so I have more posters to pick the best one.

16. Independent Brainstorm
• Strengths of using this method

– Might not get to use your own ideas as much
– Or to many ideas, unsure on which one to use.

– Clear ideas
• Weaknesses of using this method
– Only one person giving feedback
– Their idea might change the advert/not how you want it
• Did you like using this method? Why?
Yes I liked this method because we got someone else's opinion
on are ideas and they were able to help with adding ideas to
improve are radio advert.
21. Formal Proposal

• Weaknesses of using this method
– Time consuming
– Complicated
Did you like using this method? Why?
No I didn’t really like using this method as it didn’t help as much
and confused me a lot where's all the other ways didn’t it also took
up a lot of time answering all the different questions, although it
did help with choosing my final idea.
22. Evaluation
• In my radio advert I successfully managed to
achieve my plan and layout of how it would turn
out, my mind map helped for which themes to
pick (Christmas)also working in groups helped for
even more ideas and the informal pitch as we had
someone else adding in ideas. Although I would
of tried to extent my seconds on the advert and
also add music for next time as I had to finish. I
did know how to use premier which made it
more easier to understand what I was doing.
23.
24. Initial Reaction
• I am creating a game to advertise and promote the
brand coca cola, which only has to be an overview of
the game.
I have 3 ideas:
-snapchat filter game
-Mario kart alike game
-normal game
This will also be all animated.
Yes, I think it will be very hard for me to animate, as I
have never used Photoshop to animate before especially
with pixels.
25. Initial Reaction
• Strengths of using this method
– Helps me to plan out all my ideas
– I have a range of ideas to choose from
– Its already planned.
• Weaknesses of using this method
– Time consuming
– May get confused
– Cant draw on paper for characters
• Did you like using this method? Why?
Yes, I liked using initial reaction as a way to plan out my thoughts on
using this scheme as it helped my understanding of what I haven’t
tried before(photoshop animate) so that I can learn.
27. Sketches
• Strengths of using this method
– This helped me to see how my actual images will look
and turn out in pixel
– -you don’t have to change anything cause u can create
it all in the way which you like it.
• Weaknesses of using this method
– The images may not turn out how you want
– May not like drawing
– Time consuming
• Did you like using this method? Why?
Yes I liked this because it helped me become more creative and I
could see how my images would turn out drawing them, however
28. Formal Proposal
• Strengths of using this method
– Easy to plan out my ideas and form them together
– Understand how my product works and will turn
out
– Final idea
• Weaknesses of using this method
– Time consuming
– Complicated
Did you like using this method? Why?
No I didn’t really like using this method as it didn’t help as much
and confused me a lot where's all the other ways didn’t it also
took up a lot of time answering all the different questions,
although it did help with choosing my final idea.
29. Evaluation
• Overall, I liked the turn out of my game advert as
it linked well with my plan and sketches although
I am not very good at drawing I managed a few
sketches and my initial reaction was useful as I
had my ideas to reflect on. On the other hand
using's photoshop animate was a struggle putting
the game together of the movement as it was
bait confusing and next time I would try add
more animations and improve it, even though I
really liked how mine turned out.
