Photographs of locations
Today I have taken pictures of the locations
ideas of the settings I have chosen for my music
video.
2. Locations
The first location is the Red Arches in Hampstead Heath where I would want the
narrative to take place between the singer and the love interest he is after. It would
take place on the bridge and I would film them next to the rails of the bridge to make
it seem romantic with the view behind.
3. The second location is Carnaby Street which is very well known for the old fashion look it
has and the vintage shops. I would use this location for when the singer is walking
around on the streets when the music is playing mainly using mid shots and long shots
and maybe close ups.
4. The third location in Hampstead Heath is where a verse will take place when the singer is
singer to his love interest as they stand inside leaning over the rails. I would use mainly
close ups and mid shots for this scene.
I was unable to take photos inside or pictures of the view from inside the hut because of
a class held in the early morning, to prevent this happening when filming I would choose
a different time and day which will be more appropriate to film at this location.
5. When taking photos of the locations at Hampstead Heath, I found another possible
location for the narrative at Kenwood House where the singer could be walking
along the building and walk over to the bench and sit next to the girl he is singing
about, this would make the visual style seem more old and vintage looking. I would
use long shots, mid shots and close ups for this scene. The couple could be sitting in
the café at this location and it could be a flashback.
6. I also found this shot at Kenwood House which is a small bank next to a white bridge which
would be a good scene to use in a verse and the singer could be walking along the bank with
his love interest. I would use mid shots and long shots for this scene.
I will also be using other locations such as the music room in school to make it seem like the
band is playing live and a shot of the singer against a brick wall.
