2. In this location (High Petergate) we will shoot a mid-shot of
each of the band members and then also a long shoot of the
whole band. We will also have the first shot of the chase
between the boy and the girl start at this location. We chose
this location as although it is situated in the centre of town it
is fairly quite, so we are less likely to be disrupted, it is also
close to other locations were we would like to shoot therefore
reducing time travelling between location.
3. We chose to shoot at “The Theatre Royal” as it has interesting architectural
features and is also close to our other shooting locations. The shoot which
we hope to get here is part of our chase scene with the boy and girl
running past the band in the background playing their instruments.
4. Our third location we have chosen to film at is “York Library”. This
was a very specific chose due to the fact that the lyrics in the song
we have chosen refer to “words of wisdom”, and we believe that
this would add interest as we are creating a very obvious link
between the lyrics and our music video. The shots we wish to get
at this location are a close up of the boy looking upset, we will
then zoom out and pan across to a mid-shot of the band member
singing, this will then pan across again to show the girl subtly
smile before turning away to restart the chase.
5. Our next shooting location is down by the river. We chose this due to nice
scenery as this adds interest to our music video. This shot will be just
another chase seen between the boy and girl. However we may chose on
the day to position the band in some of the shots.
6. Our fifth shooting location is the “Bar Walls” situated down “Lord Mayor’s Walk”.
The shot we will try and achieve here are a long shot of the band playing their
instruments which will then zoom out the show the bar walls behind them at
which point the boy and girl will continue the chase behind them on the walls.
7. Our final shot which we will shoot
in the centre of York will be down
“Coney Street” which will then pan
onto “St. Helen’s Square”. In this
shot the band will be walking down
the street playing their instruments
and will then turn onto the square.
At some point during this shot the
couple will run in the background.
8. Another location where we intend to shoot is down the A64.
We would like a shot of a band member singing while in the
background the cars go past as we think once edited we could
create a unique effect using the car headlights.
9. We have decided to use Walmgate for filming the shot where the band
have several shots in different outfits. We chose the location because of the
brick wall with the advert painted on as we thought it was a bit different.
10. We have chosen this location as the structure of
the bridge is interesting. We also thought we
would be able to get some interesting shots of
the couple running over the bridge with the band
in the foreground, and switch the shot so then
the band are in the background and the couple
in the foreground.
11. Our final location will be a house in which the
couple will enter and continue the chase through
the room. While they are running through the
rooms the band members will be placed in the
room playing their music.
