plant and how to write it.

Teacher will greet students.
T: Hello!! How are you?
S: Fine!
S: Bien!!
Warm up -3’’
Teacher will show the flashcard from the previous lesson to review the names of the
plants that they have been working.
T: Ok! Look at these pictures! Do you remember the names?
S: Yes! It is a rosemary!
T: Right! Very good! What about this? (teacher show lavender)
S: It is a Lavender!
T: Yes! And this? (teacher shows mint)
S: It is a mint!
T: Perfect! And the last one? (teacher shows thyme)
S: It is a Thyme!
T: Excellent!
T: Now we are going to finish our poster!
Activity 1-12’
Teacher will give students the poster to finish.
(They have started the poster in the previous lesson but they didn’t finish it)
Transition: Well done! Now we will work with our plants!
Activity 2-10’
Teacher will ask students to bring their plant to the classroom and write a brief
description of it. (students have planted their aromatic herbs with the engineer from
INTA)
T: Ok! Now we will bring our plant, and you will write a brief description of it. You
should include information like this.
This is a basil!
It is green.
It has small flowers.
It is used for cooking.
3. Teacher will give time to student write their description and then she will ask to correct
at home.
(Note: The teacher asked me to make a kind of evaluation in order to give the children
information of the period)
Transition: Ok! Very good! Now we are going to continue.
Activity 3- 10’
Teacher will ask to write the part of the plant in order to check their understanding.
T: Ok! Excellent! Now you are going to draw your plant and next to it you will write
the part of the plant.
